A lot of members are asking about an iOS version (iPhone, iPad, iPod) of the CHAT feature iPhone.
Here's the skinny. It can be done but it would cost some real-life dollars:The default chat in this forum is the FREE version as shown in the first column. You can see what features are included.  To add additional modules to our chat (such as Mobile Functionality) you need to minimally upgrade to the Professional Edition as shown below - for $80.00 (this will include a bunch of other features too).  Then, to add mobile device compatability, you would need to purchase the Mobile Edition module for $35.00, as shown below. So, if we were willing to pay $115.00 we could have the additional chat features and Mobile Connectivity. I guess we would need to survey everyone to see if it is worth it.
NOTE: Another possible option is an App that displays Java-based websites on your device. Here is one that I found in the App Store, but have not tried it out.
If anyone wants to pay the $2.99 - test it - and report back - this could be a possible solution.
So, that's the deal. Let me know what y'all think.

dear god i dont think cloud browser is worth it.. everything lags far too much and it also loads as a outside source..... uuggghhh not my thing it does work but your using someone elses browser on their desktop or something. too laggy and you see mouse pointer..... im fussy. dont mind me. it wont even fix my typos altho im glad it doesnt. aarrgghh lol switching... sharazani Hey. If you are going to be in the chat room, or you know what time you'll be in there, please list that here. That way, people can see at a glance if anyone is using it, or you can coordinate meeting times with fellow mayors.

I tend to check the chat room around 10:30 PM edt (eastern daylight time) and stay visiting until 12-1 AM or so. During the day I check in random times.
I found that what works best for me is to open chat in a seperate window, then have the forums, internet, whatever I am doing open in another window. That way you just glance over and can keep doing other stuff. Tab browsing just doesn't work for me to chat.
