Before I joined this forum I always sent out my 5 gifts, rarely getting one in return but now suddenly it's raining gifts...but what to do, I've run out of my 5, now I'm stressed. Lol I'll have to wait till after midnight then I'll try and return the gifts, thanks to everyone who sent one. Thanks very much for buying a franchise candy land, I was saving up for the zen park but now I have 79 bucks and don't know what to buy.  I've only sold one franchise before and it wasn't a popular business, I think they only bought it because it's a strip club. Perhaps they had fond memories of a visit.  |

Hey guys, I was reading through the macrumors thread and stumbled my way over to this new thread. I've been playing for a couple months and after reading about stacking stock exchanges and such I finally was able to bypass the tedious task of money collecting and quickly saved up nearly $2 billion. Luckily I read about the negative money thing first so I didnt make that mistake I wasnt ever all that interested in changing locations because I don't really care about getting the more popular businesses as I would rather own businesses of places that I really like or I have been to...anyway, I've seen a lot of people thanking someone named candyland for franchising their businesses and getting them green bucks...how does that work and how does this candyland have enough green bucks to be helping everyone out? It seems like I gotta wait forever to save up green bucks and I always end up spending them on something else rather than what I am saving them for. Also, I'd love to have some people that I could trade gifts with every day. Seems like I do a lot more giving then receiving. by the way, I live in Prague, Czech Republic and have a number of businesses from the area, and I know that it is not possible to search for businesses in a lot of European cities, so feel free to franchise ;D

Guys, quick question.
Since the new update, has ANYBODY earned a single green buck from doing errands?
Because I sure haven't.
Wondering if they took that feature away.
Also: on an unrelated note, not only did they add new content, they took content away. Where is the zeppelin guy? I made space for him in my England area, and now he's been removed. Ugh.

Well, now it's my turn to be bothered--I am positive the VIP Mansion was intro'ed as a limited item so I bought 8 of them. Nowit's been recategorized simply as "new" and is still available while all the other VIP items are now gone. While not earthshaking, this seems not "nice". It would be less of a bother if a different mansion with the same cost and pop was created to replace the VIP Mansion.
Secondarily, to eradicate an item (the zeppelin) without any warning is also not "nice". I know, I'm p&m-ing...

Only the non-VIP exclusive stuff like the marble statue, helipad & luxury apartments remain. I do want to reiterate, I am pretty bothered that they eliminated content from the regular inventory. I guess the zeppelin was not a popular buy, but what harm do they get by leaving it in? Clearly, there will always be buyers for any given item, and they have never before removed a non-limited item. I am not a fan of this precedent. Will King Kong air traffic controller be next? |

Heya,
I received 2 green bucks in 5 errands this morning. I still get them occasionally, so they didn't take the green bucks from errands out. Just a unlucky streak if you go for a day or two getting 0 bucks from errands.

Hey all! Thank you to those of you who sent me gifts yesterday! I was showing my boyfriend the 'shake to collect' feature and he was doing it and then tapped away my gifts and was like "look hunny it's raining dollars!" and I'm like 'oh no!, who are they FROM!?" I tried like crazy to send gifts back to those of you I saw had sent them :S if I missed anyone, I'm sorry. And thank you so much. I just got one and get them regularly. By "regularly", I don't mean often, but I get bucks from errands at least once a day. I'm glad I bought the zeppelin guy when I did. I figured another sponsor would be covering the Super Bowl in a zeppelin that didn't belong to Goodyear, so I bought it then and parked it next to the stadium. |

I'm giving in. Deleting things to move things. It's either going to ensure that we will get the land/levels update like tomorrow. Or a sign that all hope has been lost. :S

Hey All!!! I was away for the better part of 5 days on a camping trip - without phone or internet!!! Bad timing on my part. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised to see that we are up to 76 members, 90 posts on this thread alone - with 1,660 views!! Wow!!! I just got back today, so I have a lot of catching up to do. But, it looks like a lot of craziness is going on with the latest "update". If anyone has any suggestions or comments on how to make this forum better or just has something to say, please feel free to PM me or leave a post somewhere. Thanks again everyone for all of your assistance and help in making this the "go to" place for MT2 info. |

I'm trying to figure out what to do now to mix/shake my little town up.. I'm getting bored with it just sitting there all kinda finished looking.. I wish I had the nerve to level it and start from scratch.. Lol!

Just so you know, Booyah or My town 2 on facebook has announced they are aware of the bug with regard to the shaking, and has requested players to be patient while they are working on the problem. This is their Facebook latest message: We are still working on a fix for the shake bug, but in the meantime, if you experience this issue please try reseting your game. To reset your game, double tap on your device's home button. Select and hold the MyTown2 icon, then release. Hit the little "minus" that appears in the upper left corner. Double tap your home button again to return to your home screen and then reload the game. You should now be able to see your entire town. Personally if there is a glitch, restarting the application does NOT solve the problem imo. Its pretty much built in the code or on their server. I have noticed the shaking doesnt always work (have to shake pretty hard and I dont want to do that on my iPad) until you give it a good shake. Quesochechoville - The VIP theaters was only there as a limited time during the Oscars weekend. Since the Oscars is now over, any items that is VIP has been removed. They did keep the Luxury Appartments there as a "new to the housing collection" as well as the sculpture. The VIP Spotlights, Statue, Mansions have been removed. Aw5678 - Dont delete all items, keep at least 1 of each type just for the novelty looks! Looking forward to seeing your new changes so I can enjoy seeing them Sharazani |

Solville, I hope you had a wonderful vacation! It snowed here yesterday so I stayed in my home, with hot cocoa, and enjoyed doing games, books, and playing with my cat and dog Gracegirl, Your town looks good. If you want to change, you can do that.. Just see if you can keep what cannot be replaced (the limited and seasonal items) while changing the rest. Enjoy. I am sure someday Ill get bored with my town look, and Ill be changing what I can to make it look different. Sure hope Booyah will "PLEASE" add mroe land, levels and whatnot Sharazani |

Thanks to everyone for all the great advice! now that i have accumulated almost 4 billoion dollars, am i safe to delete all but 2-3 of the 40 vip theaters i bought. I try to keep at least 1 of everything but like everyone else, Im out of room!Also why does it give me more money for 2 hours than 10 hours? Im getting 2billion for 2 hours and only 433 million for 10 hours. Thanks scott

Ques, it is safe to delete all but 2 theaters so you can have room for other things Good work on obtaining 4 billion golds. Just make sure if you know they are the "Limited items" you keep at least 1 if not 2 of those items just to keep the town a little interesting Sharazani |

I also get confused in the stat area. at times it says i have earned -2 billion then after a couple of check ins it will say 1.5 billion. the board has always ran correct and always to the positive thank goodness. thanks for the info Shaz.
