This is a tip designed mostly for the newer players. I've discussed this before, but I think it deserves its own thread. "Blitzing" is a technique used to earn the maximum amount of coins for your businesses in the shortest amount of time.
Generally, to maximize this you want to set aside a full hour. Basically, you wait until all yoiur businesses have finished their jobs and are ready to be reset. Then you click on business after business and select the "3-minute option." Now go to your check-ins on the lower left hand side of the screen and check into each one of them.
You'll earn a lightning bolt from each check-in, so now each job will only require 1.5 minutes to complete. The lightning bolt lasts for 1 hour. Therefore, you can now complete up to 40 jobs for that hour (40 jobs x 1.5 mins to complete = 60 minutes). Usually, with enough businesses, when you finish setting your last job post checking in, your first one will be ready to reset. Just rinse and repeat for coins galore!
So why not just set 15 minute or 1 hour or 4 hour jobs?
*NOTE that for some players the other job times are 30 mins, 2 hours & 10 hours
--> much faster to do 3 minute jobs, especially when it gets reduced to 1.5 minutes
--> even though you technically make more money at once by setting longer jobs, ratio wise you are earning the most when you do the shorter jobs...so it literally pays to do more 3-minute jobs and blitz them out!
--> when you do the 3-min jobs and set aside an hour to blitz, you run across a lot more errands which means more potential for green bucks
Hope this helps some folks.

Also, if i may add.... By "blitzing" and using the shortest job time (3-mins), you'll be able to create more jobs for your business and upgrade it to level 10 faster!

And....
Since I'm somewhat of a Stats Junkie - here's an example of the potential earnings in one hour (with 2x lightning bolt):
3 min @ $137 x 40 = $5,480 30min @ $561 x 4 = $2,244 2hour @ $1,309 x 1 = $1,309 10hour @ $2,807 x ... = $2,807 (after 9 hours)
Clearly, 3 min jobs is the way to go.

Same here look at mine 3 min @ $810,000 x 40 = 32,400,000 15 min @ $2,500,000 x 8 = 20,000,000 1 hour @ $4,400,000 x 2 = 8,800,000

Can you blitz using the "internet" wonders? I seem to be able to check-in and get lightning bolts for all my businesses; however, using the internet to reset it doesn't appear to be doing 1/2 time during the bolts.

Not 100% certain but I seem to remember reading that you can't use the Internet for blitzing! Anyone else remember???

If you have Mount Fuji, when all your businesses finish their first 90 seconds shake Mount Fuji. This will reset The Internet back to zero time and you can set all of your businesses again with The Internet and they all come due at the same time from there on.
If you don't have Mount Fuji you can try to tab each business as quickly as possible and The Internet will reset to zero time when you have clicked on the final business. Using the two wonders together makes blitzing much easier. I hope I made this clear.
Also, just using the two wonders together without checking in also makes things go pretty quick.
