What a mess with the venue, I do hope you can find somewhere suitable, you certainly have a good budget for it. Are you using Auzzie dollers there? Are they 4 to the stirling pound? It's worth going back to the venues you have tried before that might have been full when you were first looking but have now had a cancellation? You might have to get her to consider places she hadn't thought of before as they do tend to book up a year in advance don't they. I owned my own business for about 5 years making Stirling silver wedding jewellery and tiaras using Swarovski crystals and semi precious gems. I did a lot of wedding fayres and they were often in the wedding venues. |

Jaye that was only the deposit at the venue I think to was going to cost more than that in the end, but they didn't have to come up with the rest until closer to the date. These are the times that I am happy there is distance between us! She is as fiery as I am lol. Not sure where she got that from!  |

hey guys and gals! how's everyone?? its been 9 days of non-stop rain here in the Philippines and most of the cities here are flooded..sigh anyhow..can i get a martini lovely bartender? ;D Aww Clets, I have seen it on the news. A row of Martini's for you thanks jaye..i'm safe and sound here in my apartment..my folks are very far from the monsoon rain and flood so they're ok as well.. ;D anyway, have you gals seen kiwi? i read from the news that there was a volcano eruption and ashfall in new zealand..has she posted here yet? i hope they're ok.. |

Melz isn't it hard to sit back and keep our mouths shut !!!!! Lol - it has been the hardest thing I've had to learn as a mother of adult children! I "was" such a organizer - they called it controlling!!!!!  Ok - brief description of daughters wedding 10 yrs ago Her - beautiful! Dark ruby gown with black cloak - Him - sartorial all black - married in a beautiful Chinese garden temple in the middle of Vancouver Chinatown - note: no parking Note: absolutely no Asian blood in heritage so where does all that come from!?!?!
