Yes... every hour.  I'm not sure if anyone has posted this already, but I don't remember reading anything about this from this forum, or the old one. I'd like to think I discovered this on my own  and that I contributed something helpful to this community. I discovered this last Thursday... and tried it later that day... and when it still worked, I theorized that it resets every hour. And true enough, it did. Then I tried doing it again and again the following day. No miss. Go to store --> Bank --> Free Bucks --> Earn 1 Buck on My Town 2 (usually the first one on the list) When you click it, it will direct you to the TapJoy site. Don't sign up, don't do anything. Just close the browser, then go back to the game. You will receive a notification that says: "You have earned 1 Bucks" (yes, they always have that plural.) Sometimes, the notification appears as soon as you open the game, sometimes, it takes a few minutes. Try it! If it worked for you, please let me know. And I'd appreciate if you can hit Exalt. (Dunno what exalting does, but it sure sounds like a great thing!) If anyone can post a screenshot, that'll be awesome too. Those things that says "Like us on Facebook"... also works. I remember doing it for "Like Samsung on Facebook." Although once you've done that, you don't get to do it again. (You don't actually have to like them. Just close the browser when it redirects you to the FB page.) Good luck! Hope it works for you too. |

Yup, I concur! Been doing this for about a wk now
and it absolutely works with tapjoy. I tried the other free offers but u have to actually sign up for those to get the free bucks. It's a definitely a good glitch from Booyah so cash in now while it still works! I earn about 8 bucks a day using this method...hey, every buck counts!!!

OK, holy crap! I just tried it with the Twitter sign up (didn't sign up) and Facebook sign-up (didn't sign up) and got 2 Bucks for each. So a total of 5 Bucks! for all 3!!! Don't know if it resets like the Tapjoy one, but will check it a littler later. Screenshots below:    |

I took it a step further. I clicked on tapjoy and clicked on all the games for a buck (even the e harmony sites ) installed the on my iPod. Opened them closed them then I open MT2. If I installed 5 apps. 5 little signs that a buck was added. Even on the e harmony I think I got 5 or 10 bucks. Then I deleted all of them. Going to try the same games today see how far I get. Must of added 30 bucks yesterday and 25 The day before.
I have also ordered from old navy from the tapjoy site and received 31 bucks. Needed a new pair of jeans so why not

This situation is a double-edged sword. The info needs to be posted for our forum members, yet anyone can come on and view the info. You can require members log-in before they can view, but that cuts down traffic and membership. Plus, you can't really know who creates an account anyway.
I know, we can invent our own language and only speak about these tricks in the MT2 language... ;D
We could post vague info about some of these glitches and you have to PM someone to get the details.... not sure it's really worth it. I think there will always be glitches and there will always be fixes. It's an endless cycle.
Anyone have any other thoughts or ideas?

Yeah... that was my dilemma when I first discovered it. Do I keep it to myself and prevent Booyah from knowing it or do I post it for the community? Obviously, I decided the latter. I figured it was better to share it than be all selfish about it. If booyah discovers it and fixes it, oh well... we'll find another glitch. The game will never be perfect. |

FYI, everyone: to get a buck an hour with the Tapjoy link, you don't even have to continue to the link! Don't know if it's been mentioned. Just click on the offer, and wait (a looong), 10 seconds, for the award message. I know that in our towns, 10 seconds is like an eternity. Lol

The only idea that I have is locking the thread after the tip is posted. Everyone would still have access to the tip, but locking it might keep it off of the radar a bit by not having everyone saying thanks and it worked great. We can all thank the tipper by exalting. I thought I would share something that drbigbird showed me as another way to earn bucks. I certainly didnt know about and if you did then thanks for keeping it to yourself.  First thing is to go to the bank in MT2 and tap on free bucks in the bottom left corner.  Tap on the first offer  Now instead of just backing out here and collecting your free buck, tap on the offer.  Quickly sign up  Then scroll through the list of your games and tap on MT2  Now you will see a long list of apps that you don't have and if you download them you get the corresponding number of bucks.  Most of the games are free but you can see the Infinity Blade 2 icon has $$$+ meaning it cost money to download.  Once you tap on a game it brings you directly to the download screen in the App Store. You must download it and them open the new app. Once the app opens, close it and go back to MT2. When MT2 opens you will see the you've earned 1 free bucks icon show up. Tap ok then rinse and repeat. You may of course then delete the app if you don't want it. A few things I've noticed. -EHarmony requires a registration which I'm not doing -infinity blade wants you to buy it which I'm not doing -Most others are free games and some are actually kinda fun -Bucks range from 1-10, so far I've probably downloaded 20 apps and made at least 50 bucks. -sometimes you don't get your free bucks and so far I've been able to delete the new app and find the offer again, download it again and try again. -once you complete an offer it won't be available anymore even if you delete the app. -BEST OF ALL you can still claim your free buck in an hour In case you didn't know here are the The 9 Ways to Get Green Bucks |

As iTown says this is a good source of bucks. One or two apps sometimes fail to pay out but that is rare. On the whole you usually just have to open the new app for the buck to register, sometimes just downloading is sufficient.
One thing to mention however. Do not take up the offers that pay big bucks for spending real money, unless it is something you really want. Even then you may find you never receive credit for your outlay by way of the bucks you were expecting. I have seen complaints on other game forums along those lines. Just stick to the free apps as there are plenty of bucks there. And the list is always being updated with new apps each day after you may have used up the older ones.

Although I'm a 'newbie' the MT2 free buck is something I discovered about a month ago and shared with some of my MT friends that I personally know before joining the forum. EVERY HOUR on the hour, not 57 min., I was tapping that offer and I still do to build my bucks. I will try to go into Tapjoy and try that as well. Thanks again guys.

Town home page > menu > store > featured > free bucks > splash page shown above > green "Watch Now!" button > goes to a "watch this video" screen where you can choose to watch or not.
To earn 1 free Buck, you have to watch 4 videos.

After updated, we have no longer to recieve free bucks everyhour. And the video supplied took ages. Rather than expected 5 free gift from friends everyday, or franchised by other mayors. Is any possible way for us to earn free bucks? Can someone teach me!? sorry sasa we are all sad to see the free buck an hour gone! only way to get bucks now is to post on the franchise list for the Robin Hood's to see that you want franchises - they are a HUGE help to us all |
