OK, I figured out the formula. It looks something like this:
100 + 20% = 120 + 20% = 144 + 20% = 172.8 + 20% = 207.36, etc. .........
EXAMPLE:
Standard business: 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100
Office business: Zero Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100 5 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 248.83 10 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 619.17 50 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 758,369 60 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 4,695,626 70 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 29,074,079
As you can see, it starts compounding the more Stock Exchanges that you add.
Here is a live example:
Sweet City as Cafe: 442 coins for 3 minute job = 442
Sweet City as Office: 56 Stock Exchanges - 442 coins for 3 minute job = 12 Million coins
2 Hour job = 113.6 Million coins

I went for the Bio Dome because it was quicker for me. It gives 20./. on market businesses.
Anyone know if there is any advantage / disadvantage between them re quick profit turnaround?

The Bio Dome cost of $1.99 USD in real money is the biggest down side versus the Stock Exchange price of 30,000 play coins for each one. The Stock Exchange cost is very easily and quickly recovered once you have a bunch of SEs and Offices generating revenue for you. Some players had almost nothing else but SEs and Offices and raked in literally hundreds of millions of coins.
A few players chose to buy the VIP Theater (no longer available) to generate coins since it gives 20% on Entertainment. And each theater was fairly low cost at 32,000 coins.
Hard to say which is better. But for certain the SE is a proven way to generate lots of coins.

Yes the tip was where I got the idea, but now I don't know if I should also buy a stock exchange, or stick with the Bio Dome.
20./. is 20./. right? No advantage? Or do offices generate more income than markets?
Anyone know?

The whole idea of the SE strategy is stacking. If you're only looking to add one 20% item then certainly the BioDome is fine. If you want to make serious money though, you need to add many SEs. I just did a formula in the General area of this forum. Check it out to see just how much you can make by compounding the SEs. For that strategy, you definitely want SEs as opposed to BioDomes.

so basically on a calculator if you times your original no SE's figure by 1.2 and hit ='s for the amount of SE's you have this will be what it comes out at.
A x (B x1.2) A is starting coins B is wonders amount.
wish i could give examples like that, JEALOUS!

Simple compounding equation works here
V*((1+P)^N)
V=Collection without any Wonders P=Percentage a single Wonder would give as a decimal N=Number of Wonders
So for Sol's cafe example: 442*((1+0.2)^56) = 12,010,803 coins

All give 20% bonus and they all stack: BioDome on Entertainment Stock Exchange on Offices VIP Theatre on Entertainment
You are correct, a bonus of 20% is 20%--the only difference is the type of business. Whichever you choose, you will need to temporarily remodel all of your businesses to the appropriate business type.
It just happened that SEs are the least cost using virtual coins.

It's also worth noting that aside from the low cost of 30,000 coins, using the Stock Exchange over, say the Bio Dome or Weebo's 3-Ring Circus or the Hot Springs (these all give a 20% bonus; to markets, entertainment and salons respectively) has the distinct advantage of taking up the least amount of space, as you can fit 4 of them on a single land plot.

Go to the Store, then Wonders, then Stock Exchange. Cost is 30K gold coins. I have about 75 of them now and make billions every 15 minutes. It's getting a little insane actually. The common strategy seems to be to build a bunch, make a few billion, then destroy them and build a much better looking city.. Let me elaborate a little bit. Buy the Stock Exchange for 30k gold coins, and once it is built re-model all of your businesses as offices. To do this, click on each business, then click the little paintbrush next to the name. Next to the "Choose Your Look" tab, use the pulldown menu and go to "Offices." Once your business has been made into an office, it will produce 20% extra coins. A second Stock Exchange gives you 40% extra, etc. They keep on stacking, and you can fit four Stock Exchanges onto one land plot, so they are a better choice to use than, say, the Hot Springs or the Metro Fashion Museum. Eventually you can use all the extra coins you're earning to keep opening up more and more land as you build more Exchanges, then once you've generated a healthy income, tear them all done, turn your businesses back into what you want them to be, and have an open map to build whatever you may desire.

Original item / Big Ben / 250 Bucks / Build (non-Wonders) 25% faster
Big Ben's boost to build 25% faster does not mean simply add them up: 25+25+25+25 = 100% for immediate building of an item. Rather, it works incrementally: using an example of an item that normally takes 24 hours to build: 1 Big Ben, 24 hours will be reduced to 18 hours 2 Big Bens, 18 hours will be reduced to 13.5 hours 3 Big Bens, 13.5 hours will be reduced to about 10 hours 4 Big Bens, 10 hours will be reduced to 7.5 hours
You can also build instantly by paying 5 Bucks. Since a Big Ben costs 250 Bucks each, that equals paying 5 Bucks individually for 50 buildings. It's up to you if you want to buy the Big Ben Wonder for its appearance..

When doing the calculations, 1st space port: 100 X 20% = 120 2nd space port: 120 X 20% = 144 3rd space port: 144 X 20% = 173 etc. A question please.....do any other wonders stack? Original item / Space Port / 80 Bucks / Population +20%
To show how quickly the Space Port can boost your population:
If you have 100,000 pop, and own 1 SP, your population total will be 120,000 If you own 2 SP, then your population will be 144,000 If you own 3 SP, then your population will be 172,800 If you own 3 SP, then your population will be 207,360 and so on. Some people quickly increase their population by buying the Statue of Liberty because each one adds 50,000 to one's population.

Original item / Lucky Chance Casino / $4.99 Real Money / 2X coins +5% chance
The Lucky Chance Casino's 5% increase chance for 2 times the coins, makes this Wonder not particularly valuable considering it takes up a lot of space and costs $4.99 in real money. The general consensus is to buy this Wonder if you like the way it looks, as it is one of the most decorative Wonders with its 'working' fountains.

Original item / Great Pyramids / 100 Bucks / Build Wonders Instantly Barracuda Bay « Reply on Mar 9, 2012, 9:59am in this threadOkay, so when you build the Great Pyramids for 100 bucks, any wonder you build after the Pyramid is finished will "build immediately." That means once you place another wonder, after 1-2 seconds it will be completed and ready to use. So Stock Exchange, Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, Playboy Mansion, Mt. Fuji, etc. will build with NO WAIT TIME. ONLY WONDERS get this "magic" bonus. NOT regular buildings (like luxury apartments or police station, for instance). If you have any more questions, just ask. TIP: Build Great Pyramids, then when it is done build a lot of Stock Exchanges (10+). Remodel all your businesses as offices. You will start getting a lot of gold coins very quickly!

I too was wondering if the "stacking" effect worked for other wonders as well for their respective categories. For example, I have a lot of local restaurants and go the Top Cook Academy which also has a 20% bonus function. If I increased the number of TCA's would it have a multiplier effect similar to the Stock Exchanges?
I'm currently pursuing the SE's and transitioning businesses all over to office category when I have an upgrade opportunity, but would like confirmation about the other wonders for future reference. The coin (and the dollars for that matter - Mt. Fuji) is a necessary resource, but ultimately I would like to transition back into a town full of favorite places and looks.
