NEW STOCK EXCHANGE MATH: OK, I figured out the math on it. I set up a business on my test town with NO other multipliers. (If you have an Empire State Building or other wonder it will mess up the math). The math is: 20% + 20% = 40% + 20% = 60% + 20%= 80% + 20%= 100% In other words, there is no more compounding. Example - 15 Stock Exchanges: 15 x 20% = 3 - That is your bonus. 3 times the amount + the original amount. Test biz: OFFICE No wonders - 3 minute job = 84 coins 15 SE's - 3 minute job = 336 coins How do we get 336 coins? 84 x 3 = 252 + the original 84 = 336
Let's compare the OLD math with the NEW math: OLD MATH100 + 20% = 120 + 20% = 144 + 20% = 172.8 + 20% = 207.36, etc. ......... Office business: Zero Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100 5 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 248.83 10 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 619.17 50 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 758,369 60 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 4,695,626 70 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 29,074,079 NEW MATH: Office business: Zero Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 100 5 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 200 10 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 300 50 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,100 60 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,300 70 Stock Exchanges - 100 coins for 3 minute job = 1,500 OUCH!

The stock exchanges seem to work (maybe not as high as it should be) but I filled my town with them )I think I have around 21-25 now) and I am getting the most out of my businesses then I ever have

Just to clarify the questions above.
With yesterday's (May 15, 2012) MyTown2 update (V.2.4.0), Booyah brought back the Stock Exchange Wonder.
But, also with this update, the formula for how much your businesses earn changed dramatically. Please see the comparison above.
You will still earn 20% extra for each SE in your town. However, it no longer COMPOUNDS. That is the key. Your stacked Wonders are not working nearly as hard for you in the new update.
So, if you haven't updated yet and you still needs LOTS of coins, I would suggest waiting to update until you have taken full advantage of the old stacked Wonders math.

I have many, many SEs. I would earn the max, $2 billion every three minutes for each business; now $5000. I more or less stopped at $13 trillion, but it was fun knowing I could make as much as I wanted. Although I'll never run out of money, the thrill is gone I believe I would now earn 1/400,000 of what I used to. |

Arghhhh sucks can't revert back to an older version. I was having a ball stacking wonders.
Shame I found out about wonder stacking not long before the recent update that killed it. So I lost the chance to horde billions or even trillions.
I guess I'll just have to build my town the 'fair' way.

Previously, i already made some 250 million. I sold all my SE s and made a nice town. Have to say that indeed the thrill of saving some money to buy something, is kind of gone. Since you can buy anything you want.
So back to the ol dthrill: gaining a ridiculius amount of coins. Too bad. It is no longer possible to compound and stack the mytwon stock exchanges.
O well, i ll just have to deal with the 250 million at hand ;)

CALCULATION
To give you anidea.
Suppose, you have 30 businesses, with 4 hour jobs worth 1,000 per piece.
So that s 30,000 per 4 hours.
Add 20%, which is 6,000, and you ll find yourself breaking even after no less then five jobs. Since the stock exchange costs 30K, not calculating the plot of land it stands on.
In compunding calculations, it was quite amazing.
40 stock excahnges accellerated the described jobs of 30,000 coins with 1,470 (1.20 * 1.20 * 1.20 etcetera) Making the combined four hour jobs worth :o :o 44 million. :o :o
Now they are worth 30,000 * 8 = 240,000. :-[ :-[ :'(
