Some of the best sources of xp are levelling up, check-ins, responding to citizen errands and spin n win prizes.
And the mothership wonder will help.
If you blitz - do 3 min jobs combined with check-ins then you get the xp from the business jobs, xp from check-ins then you catch a lot of citizen requests because you're watching the game to set your jobs every 90 seconds or so.

I know I have seen this somewhere on the forum, but can't find it now. How do you transfer your town to a new device? Thanks!

Problem is old device does not back up anymore. Long story, but need a new device. What is the contact at Booyah? And what has been experience with time frame to switch it over? I can't be without MT2G! ;D Send an email to mt2support@booyah.com or use the support form on the booyah website. They need your new id from your new device as well as the id from your existing town. They also like to get your level and the device your using. It can take anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks. They do say they have a longer support time if you contact them on the weekend or outside their office hours (10am-6pm PST). Anytime there's a new idevice released or a time where a lot of people get gifts it takes a little longer due to higher demand. Give them all the info upfront so it helps speed up the process.

Just so I understand: I need to download MT2G on my new device. Get that Booyah id number, then send both the old and new numbers to Booyah for the transfer. So, will I be able to play on the new id number and then one day, my old town will appear under that new number?

No you need to send them your old number and new number then delete the app off your new device they will send you an email when the transfer is complete then you reinstall on your new device make sure your town is there and delete it off your old device.

Also just FYI sometimes they don't email you it's done. IE: We sent a request for my daughter and I was franchising her and she wasn't getting them so I loaded the game on the new device and her town along with all my franchises were there. So if you get to the point that on your old device your not getting gifts or anything that might be the reason.

My popularity has dropped a little here and there. I assume that is to be expected as the game grows and Booyah wants the game to be fair to the new comers as well as the old timers.
Recently I've lost around 2-3 thousand in popularity. I'm still low enough that this is a big hunk. This was not even across the board. One business I'm trying very hard to build up lost over have its popularity points.
I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself here. But any suggests on what businesses are less likely to get hit such as if you have franchised them or if many people have franchised the business, etc, would be helpful.

There is some safety in numbers. If you franchise businesses that already have some popularity to begin with that way it is not just you doing all the work trying to build it up just to be disappointed when you see it slide backwards. You benefit from the combined efforts of other players. And having a business franchised isn't enough - you need people that franchise it to keep that business and checking into it a lot on a regular basis. That's why I always liked having the most popular businesses in my real city when I was growing my town. I used my gifts as calling cards so that surrounding towns remembered me when they were looking for businesses and that strategy got me a lot of coin franchises from local players - they are the ones most likely to keep and grow the business. It also helps to franchise some businesses with 3500+ popularity. Looking at your town you don't have any that high. The 3500+ businesses will also help with your buck supply because you can get the max 50 bucks when they get franchised by someone over 200 miles away. The high pop businesses that have remained the most stable for me have been the enschede (accessible from Essen, Germany) and the New York City Businesses. mytown2.net/index.cgi?board=strategy&action=display&thread=1288)I know plenty of players would recommend the mytown,ca businesses because if they work for you then they barely move but they have been a disaster for me - crashing to 25 every time I have tried adding them to my town. Of the businesses I have, the ones that that seem to have gone down lately have been the with businesses 200-2500 although I have to confess that I haven't been as diligent about doing check-ins since I moved by businesses to my beach. I wish I could give an assurance that business popularity will remain stable or remain on a growth path.

This isn't so much a question as a follow up. I do have franchised businesses (not all of them) and I usually do a couple of blitzes per day. My popularity continues to nose dive. For instance; I had a business hitting the 400 mark. It has 516 check-ins with a popularity of 236. Four people have franchised this business with two of them at 50%. I can't help think I'[m doing something to drag my numbers down. This has been a couple of days now.

In the past couple of days I've played a little RH. I now have 5 businesses in storage. I'm thinking these get averaged in as having zero popularity. Any thoughts or experience?

I was checking in my businesses yesterday and I started getting some new puzzle pieces. Eventually I had all of a new collection. When I tried to collect it, the bar that they are on in the collect puzzle tab was orange and disappeared as soon as I tapped on it. Eventually I was able to "place" my new item. It was a giant robot destroying a city. There's also another orange bar with new puzzle pieces that disappears when I try to click on it to find out what I need to do to collect the pieces. The prize is a "perpetual motion machine". Both collections have a circle in the bottom left corner and the words "time expired". Anyone else experiencing this?
