I have a question..
If I franchise a business worth 1 or 2 bucks. How much will the owner gets? Will she get the 1 buck?
I have a neighbor who gifts me a buck every single day and ive been franchising her regularly. I'm just worried she doesn't gets it.

If I should ever break my iPhone4 or want to trade up to an iPhone5 is there any way to transfer this town to a new device? Yes. There are two options: 1) Send an email to mt2support@booyah.com or using the booyah website support form to request a transfer. They need you town id number on old device and the new one you get on your new device. They transfer it to the new device for you. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I had gifts from neighbors that I didn't collect last night. When I went in this morning, they were gone. And the amount of gifts I could send today had dropped from 10 to 7.

- booyah may be putting their settings back from that valentine special of double gifts - so a temporary glitch?

My phone has some connection issues, but I am holding out for the iPhone 5S which is rumored to be available in different colors. I think I have also occasionally lost a franchise or two. One time I saw a handshake and before collecting it, I went to social and sent some thank you's, when I came back to the town the handshake was gone and my bucks had not increased. I probably should do hard reboots more often. |

Interesting your comment about connection issues - my first year I rarely rebooted - and then only because i was told it was good for it!
The last couple of months (even though there is a strong signal) my phone just won't connect! So reboot - and all is fine - lately I've been having to reboot every 24-48 hrs! And all my upgrades etc are up to date.

I think file size is becoming an issue for some of the devices as towns get fuller. I couldn't get in 4 days last week on my ipod. It is better now but I did do some deleting on my main town. And the it is also a struggle visiting some of the really full towns on the ipod - the ipod freezes then crashes just after landing in the other player's town. I guess rebooting is equivalent to a PC temporary file dump - it clears things so there's enough room to open up the game.
Been in close contact with another ipod player who was also having trouble at the same time and booyah told her that the ipod was simply not powerful enough to handle where she was at. I think this is what is holding them back from releasing new land (and why they introduced getaways that you connect separately to access last time they added land).
I'm also in contact with an iphone player whose main town and getaways are completely full and she has also had trouble getting on.

I had to do a restore on it a few months ago and lost all my data because the back ups I thought I had, weren't really there. So, I do find myself rebooting it more and more. |

McP - I'm an iPhone 4 - and my backups better be there! When I backup to iCloud it has always stated weather it is successful or not - and I backup on iTunes pretty regularly (thank you Con!)
Holding out till the end of my contract for new one but still 1 1/2 yrs to go lol
Edit: mine wouldn't back up to iCloud until I did the updates - the first one took hours! But if I do it weekly now it only takes a few minutes.

I have a question that would probably be aimed at iphone users with mt2 ,I figured someone here might know from experience rather than gamble maybe loosing all data. OK the scenario is let's say I have 10,000 bucks, and I come across a business that has 150,000 pop. I haven't seen it before, and being that it's new and not on the typical top pop business list that we all use to get the best expensive companies,I quickly hit buy for 5000 bucks.
Then it came to me, why didn't I just move my location to that area and get it for much cheaper, or in coins whatever...Now I have lots of bucks so it's no big deal, but it made me wonder if its possible to go back to a earlier point in the game. I thought maybe( and this is what I hope someone may know) if on my phone I just delete the app, then go plug the USB to my lap top. Get on iTunes and reinstall the app MT2 which should restore all the data to whatever point I was in the game at that time of my last sync. I'm very curious if this would take away bought businesses and items purchased as well as reset the bucks back to the amount I had at that data transfer time.... Same process like computers do when you back them up saving the settings in case in the future something crashes you can go back to the last previous working saved settings?
Anyway so yeah if someone has done this before I would like to know if you can do this? It would of given me the option to have saved 5000 bucks erasing that purchase, giving me my bucks back, and I could have moved and got it with coins!

Jlammb - this is very simple - Depends if the servers have updated or not! If you do the Restore from Backup fast enough and if you have the luck and the servers didn't updated yet (immediatelly after you bought that business) - then your game will be restored to that "earlier point" where you have had all the bucks ! But if the servers have updated the changes already ,then , even with the Restore from Backup the game will be restored with the last changes you have made to your town (with the new bought business and without bucks) Like I said it depends of the servers updates!
