Hey guys I got a question... How do I franchise in other cities with coins? Like... Paris, London, San Fran..ex anyways I can do New York when I turn location services off but I can't get any other cities.. Help me please. Y'all have a great day  |

There is a very good guide here - mytown2.net/index.cgi?board=strategy&action=display&thread=1067You turn off Location Services, quit completely out of the game, then delete the game, but make sure you press 'Keep' when prompted about Game Center data. You then re-install the game, and when it loads, you are prompted to select your new location. You then have to find other towns that have the local businesses you want, which you'll be able to franchise for coins. For example, if you move to Paris, France, if you find another town with businesses from Paris, you'll be able to franchise them for coins. If you go to the normal Business Search though, they will still be displayed in bucks. Only franchising allows you to purchase them with coins. Remember to keep 'Location Services' turned off all the time though. Feel free to post here, or alternatively in the post listed above, as that is where people tend to ask about doing this. I have a question about game transfer.
My son (TonnyVille) bought a new iPhone and asked Booyah to transfer the game onto the new device. And it took just 3 days and they did it. Everything perfect. Got the old ID too. But, there disappeared about 700 bucks and lots of coins. My son wrote back to Booyah asking them to do something about the lost bucks and coins. Let's see what happens.
Does anyone have any similar experience and how did you solve it?

Tonny from what I just learned doing it with my kids.
Depends when they do it and you get the email. They act like two different towns. I was franchising my daughter and no hand shakes so I loaded mt2 getaways on her new iPad and her town was there and she lost about 2 billion in coins and all her franchises were there. But all the new houses she built where gone.

It is maybe like you say, Bret, it depends maybe on the time when they did it. He collected all the franchises one day before they sent the mail. All that is lost. But everything else was on place. He is now waiting for their answer. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks to Konstantin, I now have my own personalised business in my town. It's called Miyoung's Splishy Splashy and has the water park skin, which I liked the look of.
If there is still anybody else that has their own personalised business that I haven't got, then let me know, as I still have a little bit of space to fill and wanted to have forum members' businesses as a way of saying thank you for the help you have given me.

Snibull - Thank you for the advice. I've visited their town and franchised one of the mytown2.net's businesses. Think I'm virtually done now the the first version of my town, but it will be fun to redecorate and change every now and then.
