Hey everyone, This lurcher has just registered and wanted to say hi. I owe you guys so much especially pekman, cAndyland, Gracegirl and www.mytown2.net and mytown2.net so THANKYOU if you're reading this! mytown2 is my guilty addiction. Hello Mayors....I have been building My Town, Phylville, since Jan. 2012. I have worked diligently to clear the land and get my town built up. I stumbled onto the forum yesterday and realized there's a community of support out here. I look forward to gifting and franchising with you guys as we build together.

Hi everyone,
I've been playing for quite some time but have found some great hints as well as some amazing explanations that have helped me understand the game better.
My town and my ID are in my signature, so please visit and franchise! I'm only a millionaire (as opposed to a billionaire/trillionaire) and I don't have all that many bucks, but I am of the mindset that I'll help out folks however I can!

I have been playing for a few months and reading this forum for tips which have been very helpful. I joined now because I wanted to thank the entire community for their helpfulness and compassion. You are all so supportive of each other. It is a pleasure to read your comments, especially when you are giving a hand to someone who needs it for whatever reason (low bucks, disappearing town, etc.). I especially want to thank Castle in The Sky and EdMarv. Both have franchised a few of my businesses and I am so indebted to each of them. EdMarv has been really great, franchising businesses on several occasions. I watched the little hands come up on my screen one after the other and all I could say was "OMG, OMG,OMG". EdMarv, if you read this, know that I am so grateful. Thanks to all of you. You are a very impressive group and it is a pleasure to join you.

I played MyTown on my original iPad but lost out when I upgraded to the iPad 3. I sulked for awhile playing other games. A couple of weeks ago, I started up again and dumped lots of real money in so I could advance quickly. Loving the game again. Wish I had found the forum sooner. I don't understand franchises very well.

I've done this a little backward, I jumped right into the boards asking for help with gifts and franchising and never introduced myself.
I'm fairly new to my town 2 and am working my way through buying all the land (I can't believe how expensive its getting) - hence the hideous look of all the megamalls (I'll be deleting them once I've bought all the land and saved some $$$ for some fun novelty items that might appear).
So being fairly new I wasn't around when they introduced the valentines items (I want a flying cupid) or the spring items (how cool are the kites and baloons) and lets not forget the st patrick day items - Its fair to say I have town envy when I check out other peoples towns that's been playing for a while.
