Hey Peoples!
I'd like to say this is a great game when trying to kill time stuck in gridlock. I only wish we could convert coins to bucks...
Is 3,000,000,000,000 considered a lot of coins?
It seems like a waste
Anyhoo, thanks to folks that discovered the city hopping trick. It's been great to be able to franchise using coins instead of bucks. AND thanks to the peeps out there that franchise my businesses. I'm not hung up shaking instead of tapping to pick up all my coins. It's would even cooler (and much lazier) to have a Mt. Fuji that would automatically initiate jobs for you LOL
Thanks again for all the tips and I look forward to Booyah upgrading MT2 so we can have an inventory, upgrade past level 50 (i lost my town last month so I'm working my way back up, at level 26) and expanding the land past 7x7

I discovered this forum about 4 days ago, very useful to play this game.
Anyway, special thanks to city name "mytown2.net" and "mytown2.net go" to franchises me some business to give me amount of green bucks. So, I can earn enough bucks to build-up Mt.Fuji. I save 442 green bucks for a long time.
I hope others also can franchises me. I will gift back.

Hi all, I have been looking on the forum for about a week, and have recently started participating instead of just lurking. I am really enjoying playing MT2, I think my 18 month old would appreciate me not wanting to collect the coins so often, LoL.
My mom (407mom) got me hooked on this game. I have appreciated all of the franchises that everyone has given me!!! Helps so much!
Maybe soon I will be able to help out some of the people around my area.

Hiya! I'm getting to the stage where I really need to socialise my town so that it keeps going. I'm kinda stubborn about not paying for the buy-in add-on stuff, and I also like to keep my town looking as natural as possible, which means roads and houses and such. You can visit my town! I'm trying to collect businesses from Edinburgh, Scotland, my local area although they aren't as popular as the ones from, say, New York City. After lurking for a few weeks I'm also coming out... Charliver Town :: 29399014 This first town was started last November by my wife on her ipad. I quickly hi-jacked her game after I saw her playing it and proceeded to grind out some coinage. With the extremely low popularity of Hawaii businesses it was a long and painful process. On the flip-side, I have a lot of level 10 businesses now. On the not so flip-side, even though I don't like most of them, I have a lot of level 10 businesses I can't bear to part with... I built this with only twice spending $9.99 for mytown bucks. And I only did so out of pure frustration after I accidentally hit the "UPGRADE NOW" button, four times.... Uptown Charliver 33000228I started this on my iphone the day they implemented gifts. (There's also a Downtown Charliver but I haven't taken that nearly as far this one.) I never intended it to get this big but after I stumbled on this forum and the Stock Exchange trick, is was pretty easy goings from then on. Again, because Hawaii's pickings are slim, I decided to focus on finding businesses that best match the personality of each style of building. I've only now started to lay things out and still grinding my businesses to level 10. Some thoughts...1. Really?  You can only put down 35 businesses after 900k population? 2. Would be nice if we could adjust the building size (and color!) of our businesses. 3. Why can't the iphone businesses work on 10 hour shifts like the ipad version? 4. I really want more road types. They have a variety of roads in Pet Town. How about sharing the love? |

Gorerilla, welcome to the forum. I'm glad you finally "came out" of your lurking status. Just some comments... 1) I think maximum is 36 businesses. Not sure about max population, though. (1 Million, maybe?) 2) It would be nice to be able to control color. Regarding size, though, as you know, right now, it depends on the level of your business. 3) The difference in work shifts (4 hours, 10 hours, etc)... is not dependent on your idevice. No one has figured out the connection yet --- it seems to be random. You'll find some discussion about this issue all around the forum. I, for example, use an iPhone, and I have the 10-hour shifts. Hi everyone, Just wanted to take a moment and say hi and introduce myself...my name is Gina and I'm the mayor of lanetown. I have been playing My town 2 since January. I'm pretty addicted to the game. I love creating my town. I think I mentioned somewhere else that I started off playing the game just trying to create a cute town...but that started to get boring-especially since I have been sitting on level 50 for awhile. Now after reading these forums I am excited to try to make it a more "competitive" town and earn lots of bucks and coins! I have over 2 million and it keep growing from gifts even though I have not built anything for a very long time (no more land). |

Hi
I have been playing this game for a few months on my Iphone and then when I got an Ipad thought I would automatically have the same game. But of course, that didn't happen and now I have two towns to stress over.
I in level 50 on the iphone and level 36 on the Ipad. My issue is getting population. You build houses to get population to get business and the circle goes on.
Can someone help me with the questions please:
1. Is there a population max ? And if so once you reach it can you lose it ?
What other ways are there to build population ?
2. When you franchise someone (to help them) can you just delete that business straight away so you can build one that you want ?
