Hey welcome Jonestown and Frisky! The forum has a wealth of information. - after you browse the threads a bit  don't hesitate to ask questions! There are game "glitches" as well that are in the threads! Check out the STW (spin the wheel) thread and the notre dame wonder thread - its esp. good for making coin! Have fun! Frisky the franchising is a couple of things - players with extra bucks and coin can share and help out players who need them - wheather its coin or bucks depend on location of businesses - or a franchise can just be a friendly hello handshake or ... Hi, newbie here. I've been playing mt2 for about three or four weeks now. I don't know anyone else who is playing the game, so I have just been growing it quietly by myself. That's all well and good, but there is only so much you can do without other people coming along. The popularity stays in the basement, nobody franchises, so the money doesn't come in.  I've been reading through here. It is fun picking up tips, but a lot of them seem more hassle than they are worth! I am also not sure how many of them are valid in the UK/on iPad2/on the game as it runs today. But it looks a fun place to hang out, so I am glad I found it. |

Hi ultraviolet - welcome! I play on an iPhone - so can't really help with your question - most things work on all devices - the STW glitch needs your device to be up to date with upgrades! Hi Guys, I'm new in MT. I started playing MT about 3 weeks ago and I'm enjoying it. The sad part is that I don't have any friends to play it with so I tried searching for forums for help and other players. Luckily I found this site. I've been adding random Mayor's of MT that is active here in the Forum. My advance apologies if ever I bothered anyone. I just need help to get free bucks because I'm in Philippines the stuff in MT is too expensive for me so the alternate thing for me to get free bucks is send a gift of free buck or anything the Mayor need.

I'm the Mayor of Shackelford (46661416). I'm a definite rooky to any online game play.
My actual location is near Marshall MO. Had been having fun with MT2, playing obsessively.
However I've been stuck for a week or two being unable to buy any businesses. Each time I meet the population goal..... The goal resets! The only time I was able to make much progress was when I lucked into triple coins for a short time, and was able to buy more land. Today, I bit for the deal and bought the subway but was not given the observatory ( was that because I had one already?)
Don't understand franchises at all! Started buying a few only because they were much cheaper than the ones in the market. Is there a way to start your own businesses, or to buy one from your real town?
Have never accumulated more than 6 or 8 bucks, so many items are out of my reach. Each time I save enough coins I buy land, but I wonder if I should save for something else. Currently I'm at a standstill ---- out of land and a long way from having the coins to buy more.
Since I used to spend most of my time and money at the casino....Have decided I can't afford to start to spend real money to play. Does that make it impossible to advance?
Most of the forums here are way over my head , but thanks for any help!

Welcome, jhiii! You've found a great resource of advice and help. This game can be quite addicting. I use the Spin to Win to satisfy my desire to play the slots without spending money. Check out the STW thread for how to access the glitch. We'll help you with gifts and franchises so you don't have to spend real dollars. I've been playing since April but didn't discover this forum until June. Since that time, my game has grown exponentially. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. Check out the franchis me thread too.

Hi everyone
Been playing MT2 for at least 6 months now, and I thought it's about time I ask for help.
I live in South Africa, in a city where just about no-one else plays MT2. I have no neighbours that I can see (perhaps there are some lower level neighbours that are hidden?). I am just about the only one pumping up my businesses, though I recently had help from fleetwood (38935656) (Thank you!!!).
I had a city I was really proud of, but it wasn't making enough coins... so now I am spamming High-Rise condos all around my beautiful Vector Park in an effort to make coins - they are more productive than most businesses I own.
But I desperately need bucks for a Notre Dame to make the housing worthwhile (I have a Sky Cathedral though). I'm kicking myself for accidentally upgrading one of my businesses to level 9 a while back (almost have my manually upgraded level 10's now). I would've had the bucks by now.
Anyway... Looking to meet a couple of active players that I can trade bucks with on a daily basis. If I had done this from the start I would've had more than enough bucks by now, even for a Mt Fuji!
