Hi I'm a 35 yr old mother who is completely addicted to MyTown2! It all started a few months ago my 8 yr old daughter showed me the game. So I thought I would help her by collecting her coins for her while she was at school.She was saving up for a fashion museum and a piece of property. It took me forever to save it up and then I had my husband start helping me. Lol We were hooked, we started out doing it in the name of our kid. Now we turned my mother in law into a MT2 junkie. She has her friend at work hooked too! We love the forum because there is no way to communicate on the game!
We want to say thank you to a few very generous mayors you all have completely changed the game for us! We get all excited my mother Inlaws calls from work freaking out! Hi! I have been playing MyTown2 since March. I'm completely obsessed I really enjoy playing I even have a friend at work who I have addicted to MT2. I want to say Thank you for making this forum. It's the 1st and probably the only forum I will ever join!

Hi everyone  I am new to all of this and this is the first game I have ever played on my IPad. I have already learned a lot from some of the threads but was needing help understanding what the best businesses to buy are and how to increase the income since land prices have gone through the roof even though we are in a recession !!!! Hi there my name is Patrick (34). My wife Amanda (35) and I have been playing MyTown 2 since christmas. I have had to start a second due to upgrading to the iPhone 4. My wife has far surpassed me in it even before then, lol. So we have fun helping each other and anyone else out when we can. We also play Animal Town together and I have recently started No Zombies which is really fun. I have put our town and ID's below. Thanks for the invite and great forum!!

You might want to read about the STW glitch, Amanda might really like it and you can franchise her to give her bucks to start her off lol. Thanks for the advice Jaye. Amanda is actually way ahead of me, almost all her businesses are lvl 10 and she has all the land, lol. Plan on trying the STW glitch. Again thanks for the welcome and look forward to playing with everyone!

And I come from the Netherlands I'm really glad that I've found this forum (thanks to Trisy123 for telling me ^^), I've already reached my main goal: buying Mount Fuij :3 I also love helping others by franchising them (if I can, I'm not that rich, but if I can, I'll do) and gifting others =] I hope being here as a sort of active member :3 |

Hi there. I'm based in England. Have been playing for several months, love the game. By mistake I set my location as Rome! Have changed it to my location but am struggling to find many good businesses here. Still think I've established a moderately good town. Any franchising/ gifts would be most welcome.
Am always happy to return with gifts if required so let me know.
Have only just found this forum and already I've learnt a couple of useful tricks so many thanks!!

Hi!
I am a 41 year old who started playing this game about 2 months ago when my son introduced me to it.
Now the whole family is playing.
I read the instructions here on how to adjust the time in order to complete jobs quickly and I've racked up all the coins I need for a while.
The other tips have been very useful. Now I'm trying to do two things (1) get the spin to win tip to work and (2) leave some open space and stop myself from filling every inch of MyTown with the newest items. It is a hard compulsion to stop.
Thanks to everyone for the advice posted on this site.
I just joined since I finally found something that may be useful to some people (a way to get a 2x experience boost that I mentioned in the Business Exploit/Finish Instantly thread).

Hello, I am a Newbie here! My Town name is Emerald City -as in Emerald City, Seattle Washington. I'm from Oregon, but chose the Town name based on where I was when I discovered the original MyTown App. (Seattle has a nickname: Emerald City!) I've been playing MT2 since October just as the original MyTown app was fully reaching it's end and removed from the app store, now only to be found under 'Purchased' items if you downloaded the original MyTown app before it was discontinued. I still check in there to see if any of the old players are on, but it is truly a ghost town there now. One of my favorite players on the original Booyah MyTown app was Sol. His reputation reached a heroic state for us on MyTown when we heard he won an iPad from Booyah!!!! Congratulations again Sol!!! I found this site when searching for Mytown 2 Hints and Tricks and was pleasantly surprised to see Sol again! I always wanted the original MyTown app to evolve into a success, which kept me interested in MyTown 2 long enough to get addicted. Just as the original MyTown never had any good internal support, this site has become the source for answers to my curiousities of MyTown 2. This helps fill the viod as MyTown 2 also has no real good user-guide to follow. So, Thanks for putting this resource together to mainain the interest in MyTown 2!!! It's great to find others with the same interest!
