Is any one noticing the frequency of the two geysers in a row in STW?
I have had it happen about 20 times since the geysers were added.
It doesn't seem to happen as frequently with the other items.

Yes, same here, I have 114 of them. They seem to be replacing the snow globe in frequency.

I'm gonna guess Booyah made that one the one with the highest frequency bc most people who want geysers to decorate with want more than one? o.o Seems like that happened with the gravestones, too. I have a lot of graves. I didn't unload them cause if we ever get to trade, I'm sure I can find someone who wants them! XD

I haven't unloaded anything I get from the wheel. I have so many of some things but if its rumored that we might get to sell or trade, then guess ill keep mine too. It's not hurting anything having a ton of goodies. ;D

Lol Have you watched the video in this thread? That will show you EXACTLY how to do it. Then you only need about 10-20 spins to get the free spins stacking up. I'll try franchise a business or two of yours to get you some bucks to spin. But you have to promise to ONLY gamble with it ;D! |

 I have seen this before I found these forums, but was never aware it was a glitch and didnt try to repeat it. Duh. I guess it takes a bit of practice. I just used my last 120 'bucks' trying to get it to work. Hopefully I will get a visit or two today to replenish some of my bucks, or get it with tomorrows free spins.  Thanks for the video.

I still can't seem to repeat the glitch at will. I got close (thanks to the RHs that helped me with some extra bucks!), but I couldn't repeat it more than a couple times, so sadly, no massive amount of free spins... yet.
Luckily, I am a degenerative gambler, so I shall persist.

I must be missing something here. Or maybe the payout possibilities have a correlation to the players' level. I finally tried the STW technique. With about 200 bucks spent, I only got 4 no-wins, but my best wins were only: 1 buck, 2 bucks, 1 geyser and about 3 free spins. There was also a 1.5 coin boost for about 10 min. The rest of the wins were population, Xp, and coins mostly under 1000.  The WIN frequency was much better than usual. But not profitable. I've never gotten more than 2 bucks, and nothing compounds. Just an FYI .  |

Lol jhiii! I had to go check it out the last couple of days cuz it had been awhile since it tried it - sessions vary for me -
first session upset me as I got no bucks!!!! And that is what I spin for!! I did get 1000 free spins though (unusually get this each time) plus a few thousand coin and various items.
2nd session - thankfully I got 800 bucks in 4 different spins - again the free spins - always lots of xp and a few thousand coins - plus items

I'm not sure jihii is doing it quite right, from that description...I think some of the instructions are a bit confusing. I had to watch Kon's video like 4 times to figure out what was going on, myself. XD
Here are the instructions as I told them to someone who asked me; I think these are pretty clear, as he immediately figured it out. I also made a short video with voice instructions, but don't want to share publicly; if you need it as well, let me know.
Basically, all you do is go to the STW game, and don't use the lever - use the button. Tap it once to start it spinning, and then tap and hold down (it will be darker, so you know you're holding it), until the third row has *just* fallen into place, and let go - the amount of whatever you spun out that time should be "stuck" on the number reel while the rest keep spinning for the next line-up - say, 125 for the single bronze coin - and that is the amount you will get of whatever spins out next - hopefully a free spin, so you can keep playing for free - unless the next lineup is a loss. Then you have to start over. But if it's a win, you can keep tapping and holding down, although I let go (before the third item lines up) if it's something with just an amount of 1, because I might not want just 1 of whatever is next!
Fortunately, the amount multiplier doesn't work on the Items (decorations, snowglobes, etc), or the boosts (1.5x coins or XP), just on coins, XP, and bucks! No one wants thousands of tents, haha.

I haven't had much luck with the spin n win trick but then other than the xp prizes I don't really feel like there's much incentive to keep trying to master it. I don't really want any more of the decorations they have on offer and I'm doing well with my buck and coin generation. Wouldn't say no to another snow globe or 2. I just keep landing on population and coin prizes.
Update: Maybe it helps just to write it down b/c I just got the 1/5xp bonus.

Most the time - none. Sometimes 1 or 2. Not enough to keep spinning. Gifts and franchise proceeds have been a lot better source of bucks for me.

Same. o.o I have about 56k in one town. 500 in the other. *coughs* 6.6;; And this could be my own personal insanity, but sometimes I feel like if I play with my iPad in Airplane Mode, I get better payouts/line-up orders. I have no proof of this, because I'm far too lazy to record my winnings while connected and not. ;9 |
