When did you post yours, August 11th wasn't it so that's after the new rule came onto place on August 7th. Guess you just 'got lucky' that yours wasn't locked too hey, and Kush too. Unfortunate for our MT2 game though. |

Why don't we just pick a random name and post it in this thread? That would be a random act of fun, and really, the idea does not have to be in "game" format.

Well that's exactly what it is, picking a random name. It's picked from names that have been logged in at anytime that week, the reason being that you have to have been on the forum to be included. We want people to pop on more regularly and get more involved. Hence it was to be a game. Plus the idea of these forums is that you have people running fun events, that's why there is a thread. If there isn't a format or names taken from who's logged on then who would pick the random name and how could we make it fair, which names would we pick from. We can't just take the entire forum directory as a good portion don't use the forum that much so that defeats the object. there has to be some semblance of order. What would your idea be to 'pick a random name', how would you go about it? I'm interested in what your idea would be |

I love this idea and do not want people to give up on it . We can also make it fun and send an email to somebody who is online at the time of the lottery to pick a number 1 to whatever and use that. |

I love this idea and do not want people to give up on it . We can also make it fun and send an email to somebody who is online at the time of the lottery to pick a number 1 to whatever and use that. The name (game/event/drawing...) doesn't really matter. Since it's a reoccurring event, it belongs in the community events thread. It's fine in this thread just to keep the spirit alive, but this thread was really made for something different. I like the idea of asking people who are on-line when it's time to pick a number to pick a number. But it's not good netiquette to solicit via PM requests for participation unless someone has already said they'd like to participate. If you or anyone would like to be involved in the background, that'd be great! Anyone else? Just send me, Amstel, or Acacia a PM. We welcome all ideas and participation! Snibull 30719277 |

People... It's TGIF tomorrow and you all know what that means....
The second instalment of MT2 International Lotto Blitz!
This game is great fun, it doesn't just help newbies with bucks and gifts, it's for anyone that has logged in since last Friday.
Again all those names will be put into a hat (or Ams spread sheet lol) and someone will be asked to pick out a random number and we'll have a winner.
The winning Town details will be posted here tomorrow at which time we hope you'll all pop over and BLITZ them.
The lucky winner will receive forum karma, buck and coin franchises and gifts from any and all other forum members who wish to participate from Friday through till next Thursday.
Remember you have to be a registered forum member with the details of your town ID and Name to be in with a chance to win.
