Won, growing up I was very spoiled and never really had to "share" with anyone! My two brothers were both a decade older than me. But I am willing to try and learn to share - and we can start with Edward. At least as long as he can afford both of us. I'm pretty sure that Kon is going to pass up Edward very soon though! Maybe we should all be fighting over Kon instead. ;D

I have been keeping a close eye on the letters as far as what counts and what doesn't. If the same thing happens to me today, that happened yesterday, I may have found a glitch.

Also, does anyone else have friends/neighbors listed only as "Player"? I haven't been sending them gifts. And I can't find a way to delete them. At least now we can delete the deadbeat buddies with the new update. I wish there was that little garbage can by everyone's face. I think it is hard to delete facebook deadbeats. Even if I remove them from my Facebook Friends list on my computer, I think they may become the "Players".

Aston is not in the store. Same as Mexico tower and frauenkirche..I've checked. maybe that's why it's a bit expensive.
I think all the 5 bucks special offer deals that they are offering are not in store..

That happened to me last time that's why I didn't get the burj al khalifa offer! So I'm always very careful now when I'm near leveling up. Fast tapping usually is the culprit! ;D

Letters really confused me! I've max and now all 30 gone from accepting rewards from thank you's neighbors have sent me!

And the 3 stooges are stubborn today. Gave me all materials not on my list!
I think I may have to add more neighbors..
I'm jealous of kon, he's finished the tunnel and now have a new land to built more cafeteria! ;D

Mcphilp- I have 1 player neighbor , Ive been trying to send him gifts but it says error always. I was wondering if he deleted me on fb or he's account has encountered problem too bec we've been exchanging gifts since we became neighbors. So maybe it's the latter. Sad bec he has the best buildings from Xmas and valentines that I've seen!
Maybe your player neighbor has problems with fb too..
And I have a few neighbors who kept asking for help mostly 2x in a day, accepts my gifts ,says thank you but doesn't gift back! Omg! ;D

Hi everyone!

Boy! I was so wrong about this game - about the social aspect of this game!
Having lots of active players it helps big time!
I have 215 friends right now and the list is increasing each day with 4-5 new friend towns! At least 150 are playing daily and I feel the difference. Underwater tunnel built in less than a week and this has 11 stages of construction!
Now I build Marina for one more playing zone and I think , tomorrow it will be finished
I managed to delete the inactive buddies and replaced them already with more active ones after the update - Yes! I wait for that feature for the FB inactive players too!

The blitzing method is working BUT it works better combined with adding buildings that give many XP points! - I saw that analizing Won's progress! ;D

... and you don't have to have 230 wodden houses and 775 cafeterias for blitzing ;D
Why? Simple!
A little math lesson:- A Cafeteria/Wodden House need five (5) minutes to restart the production of coins/people.
Five minutes are equal 300 seconds (5x60 sec= 300 sec)
We all know that after you tap an item this will need 1 sec to collect the coin/people!
So puttting all together: after tapping 300 items ,I do it in ~2 minutes, I wait for everything to be collected and almost when everything is collected the cycle restart again the coins and people "replenish" again and I can start tapping again!
Of course the 1005 items I have right now it helps me not staying in front of the iPhone/iPad to much as I tap everything in about 5 minutes and then until all "replenish" it will last at least 20-25 minutes to restart the cycle. I hope it make sense!

I don't look what items are offered for each level because I don't want to use my megabucks ;D ;D ;D and I press as fast as possible the OK button ;D ;D ;D I don't want being sorry later for not buying or because I used the megabucks ;D ;D ;D
So, I close my eyes and hit Ok! ;D Next! ;D

The letters are not enough for me either!
I will try this next few days and see if it works better!
Because my game resets the number to 30 letters everyday at 00:00 CET and in 24 hours I receive at least 150-200 letters, I will wait 23:00 CET
At this hour I will start first to respond to:
-"Say Thanks"
-"Accept"
-"Get reward"
-"I want to"
-"Allow"
-"Okay"
-"Help"
I will "Agree" for all the neighbour requests as I saw those don't take a response away!
I saw that if I respond first to "Say thanks" and "Accept" as soon as I exit the app and return the number of responses is decreasing. I will try to do all at once and see what happends.

I saw the progress you have made on your town!!!

And I have followed your lead and am making lots of Facebook friends...about 4 to 5 a day...and it does help A LOT!!

I have been keeping track of the letters yesterday and today. I think I may have figured out what makes them stay and what makes them go. After the game resets today, I will post what I have found. Then if you could take a look at it, and see if it syncs with your findings....let us know.

I wish I had your restraint. I have dipped into my Megabucks because I am too impatient to wait. ;D ;D ;D

Ok. Here goes. After two days of testing, I think I figured it out and discovered a glitch.

Items that charge a letter are:
1. Allow someone in your town to search for something. In my case someone wanted to look for artifacts.

2. Accept a job or an invitation to watch or participate in something (like a soccer tournament)

3. Accepting a gift (surprise)

Things that Do Not charge letters:
1. Agree to a friend request

2. Get a reward

3. Send a thank you

4. Accepting a visit request to come to someone's town to help speed up a factory item in one of the production facilities.

Now here is the glitch that has been throwing us. Accepting a gift(surprise) from someone charges a letter BUT it doesn't come off the letter count when you do it. That's why after accepting them then leaving and coming back later the number of remaining letters has dropped a bunch. The trick is to wait until the end before the game resets and go in once and accept them all. So today I had ignored all those until 15 min ago. I had 31 to accept but only 5 letters left to use. As I accepted them I saw the coins going up, but the letter count did not drop. I took all 31. Left the letter area and I had no letters left. But, I got credit for all 31.

So save the accept gifts until the very end and accept them before the clock resets. Just make sure you still have at least one letter left to send. Yesterday I only had one letter left and I accepted and got my coins for 25 gifts.

I hope this works for everyone! Let me know. ;D

I do have a "Player" in my list of buddies. I have a different one (one is level 33 and the other is level 27) that sends me letters, usually asking me to visit his town for help of some sort. But if I click the link, it takes me to his town but never let's me help. This "Player" doesn't show up on my list of towns. I find it very confusing.

I have some "Player" neighbors also, I think they came from when first started game and you got to invite buddies. Deleted a couple of them for they were not playing and then was able to invite some buddies again. Hope they are daily players, but I guess if not, I can now delete them.

Just want to say again what a "GREAT" group this is!

Con- you analyze it well and you're right about the 300 cafe's/ wooden houses. Did you count mine? I did the math too that's why I have 300+ in my town. I've exceeded mine to 40+ ( not sure of the exact count) so as not to wait too long for it to replenish by the time the last cafe is done I will have 3-4 segments of cafes ready to be tap again!

But if I have the coins and enough space I will no doubt reach it to 1,000 too bec in order for me to level up I have to do 3x of what you're doing now ( that is without buying/ building infrastracture or doing the task) so that takes up a lot of time having to stay in front of your device! So I did what I think is best. Do the task and blitz at the same time! ( and i admit i have to shed a few precious megabucks in order for me to continue doing this) And leave my device to someone whenever I leave the house and ask him/ her to blitz! that too helps a lot big time! ;D ;D ;D

This technique works well if your goal is to level up fast Which is my goal at the moment. But if your goal is to just enjoy the simple pleasure the game gives then I suggest don't blitz, you don't need the bonus headache that comes with blitzing. ;D

Blitzing( adding as many cafes as you can) + doing the task ( building infrastructure/ houses etc) = fast level up

And oh a lot of neighbors helps a lot too!

This works well for me. I hope this helps!

I have 67 letters right now by the time they reset it will be over 200. I found that after it resets I accept them all. It says I have like 5 left but when I exit and go back in there all gone. So I just sit a wait until I get more.

Try to go through your letters by following what I have started doing. See if that helps.

Throughout the day, Get rewards, Agree to friend requests and send thank yous. You can respond to visiting someone's town to help finish a factory job, but I just cancel those because I hit everyones town once a day and if I go back I wont be able to do anything for them. These acts do not take any of your letters.

Then selectively allow people to search your town for things (see my above post) or go see a soccer match, etc. These will take away letters. So make sure you do not drop below one letter left to send. Do Not accept any gifts (surprises). This is the important part.

Before the game resets, go in and accept all your gifts. The letters available number will not change while you are doing this. But, you will get the coins for each accept. Do not leave the letter area until you have accepted them all. Once you go out, the game will take away the rest of your letters available. (I think this is a glitch that works in our favor)

You should be able to respond to all requests in your mailbox without losing anything. Once the game resets, you will get 30 more and then follow the same pattern.

Edit: accepted 3 agrees for neighbors still have all 30 and 258 letters to answer. Have not sent any gifts yet going to wait until the morning.

I gave in this morning because I didn't get boosts on any businesses so I answered all the letters but the I want to ones. I had 22 left when I exited the game and came back in I had no letters left. Something's wrong with that?!?!

I wish those acts of expansion were easier to get. I have only received 6 in total and need 80 for my next expansion. They stopped coming when I started adding items to the wish list for the construction projects. Hate being forced to use the mega bucks to expand. Have to wait 4 more levels until I can expand again - unless I crack and break my own personal rule of not spending any real money on apps. Or I can get bucks for one of the other achievements. I'm finding space a bit of a struggle. I'm getting good rewards from completing the task list so I feel like I need to reserve space for those.

I believe those rewards come when you visit someone's city and help out with production, that screen pops up to share. If you share, then the city you are visiting will get the reward in their mailbox.

Some of the regular visitors to the getways facebook page have started playing this now too. I've had several of them ask to become neighbours over the last few days.
