Regarding gifting..

Could be that bec bhertz doesn't have it yet in his inventory so he can't send it yet? And will be available once he started building things that needed the same parts you/ we needed? Bec the 3 stooges ( Edward, Alice and the cute guy forgot his name ;D) will only send parts once we started a project..
And I'm not sure but for every level up I think a part shows up? so maybe that is one source too? ( or I could be dreaming about this)

But we'll still be waiting for con's input regarding this..
I could be wrong..

Edit: just got this now the free parts is not after leveling up but after an achievement is earned.
Got 3 iron beams after I earned the philanthropist achievement title.. But It went to my storehouse so it's not for gifting but for my own use..

And I guess con is too busy .. ....

Sorry i didnt get to your question sooner! You can send and receive gifts and help a neighbor once every 24 hrs I think.

And about asking me for help.. I just checked and I didn't get a message. Do you have an expired goods that needed help?

I saw your post on fb though but I don't know how I could help you except to gift you the parts you need. I gave you a cement earlier after I accepted your request.. I still have 2 more cement .. I will send 1 to you later.. I dont have a glass though. So maybe our friends here can see this and look for the parts you needed.

Asking for help is on the busniesses I click on the business and select ask for help it comes up to facebook send page. The only people I can send a request to is Fleet, MC and 2 other people but I have 22 neighbors so I don't understand it.

I'm doing like you and Kon I agree that the cafes are the best bang for the buck right now. This is different but fun. I've friended sooooo many people.

I am just wondering if the game resets at the same time for all of us. Mine starts over every day at 5:00 pm CST. I get gifts from the 3 stooges (a funny and appropriate name, Wonderland) and I am able to send gifts again to all my buddies.

Also, have you all noticed that if you click on the Friends icon, and then click on the Add Friends icon, at the bottom right side of that page there will a gift offered to you once a day. Mine is always for 1500 coins.

Bret, I think your gifts were listed when I tried to send something yesterday. I can't access the game during the day. No internet connection on my Ipad. (Probably a good thing as I'd never get all my work done!)

Cat my gifting is the same as yours, however, don't know if that is because we are both in Texas. Get the add friends gift also , same as your. It is an easy one to forget to do.

Brett, if you can't find a gift on the wish list, then send a generic gift from our gifts to send. People can save it for when they need it or if they choose, sell it for coins. Best ti get off wishlist, but if you don't have any free ones to send, any gift is appreciated.

Rarely do I spend real money in these games, but yesterday was offered the Capitol for 50% off and couldn't stop the finger from spending the bucks. May have to pop for some bucks so can expand.

My game seems to reset itself at 5:00 est as well. How do you save a gift you get to your storage house if you don't need it? I seem to only be able to sell them. I would love to keep them.

And those three stooges annoy me. They refuse to send me anything on my wishlist. They keep sending things for other projects. I still need the parts, but would love to get one project done at a time.

Wonderland...level 42. Wow!! I am still plugging away at Level 40. Are you doing anything special? Or just blitzing?

Mcphilp- I do blitz a lot these days it's bec I can't do the tasks anymore ! No space left to put anything! I'm waiting to finish my road junction so I can start doing the sawmill!

But I level up fast by doing the tasks that helps a lot! Big time! And by any means never ever do the shopping mall and sports center yet! Not yet! make sure you do it last! Omg Ive been doin it like forever building it and I can't hide it the only way is to either delete it or continue waiting for parts in vain!

I admire how con manage to built more land first. Then do the production next. I think I'll follow that lead this time.

And with regards to these 3 stooges I hate them too they does that to me as well! And I've read in SQ forum they were talking about the 3 sending mostly piles and iron beams! ;D ;D

My game resets at 00:00 (CET)

The gifts are added by the game! Everytime I added a new town to my friend list the game added his/her wishlist and gave me a few new gifts to send to the new added town!
Right now I have 172 towns in my friend list - the sum of the items from all their wishlists is 1100+ - and I have 514 gifts to send!
But every day ,( depending on what the players ask for in their wishlist), to those gifts the game add more new ones to be sent.
When the game resets I start to "repart" the gifts and I never let anybody without gifts.
Did you knew this? If you don't have any project started in your town and you don't need any parts Edward, Mike and Alice will send you items! I received lots of parks from Decoration category, lots of buildings from residential and Infrastructure categories and one of the stadiums (Youth Soccer School)
They have sent me more expensive items each new day!
I have to "test" that once I finish my actual projects.

I earn lots of coins helping others! I get 300 coins for every "handshake" I give!
I can help 7 times in each town I visit!!! (the number increases when you level up on "helping" friends) You can see that we have a level of the game and a level of how much we help.
I am level 45 in the game and 14 the level of "helping"

Another "tip" I saw/learned from the older players (I have in my list towns at level 119, 97, 95, 90 etc.) - to add the Ship Design Office!!!!Lots of them! It costs 60000 coins! You need 15 parts to build the business to be able to start jobs! You pay 3000 coins and after 6 hours earn 12000! Maybe it's not much but to build it it doesn't depend on the number of population you have like the other businesses . So you can have as much as you want of those.

And yes! Those offers are "mean" ;D ;D ;D
They make you use your megabucks ;D
I have to stay concentrated! I can't spend my megabucks! ;D

Oh! Don't sell any of the items/parts you receive in the "Received"! If you can't use right away this will be kept in there in the "Received" - This act like a storage for the received gifts! It's true ! You can't send it to anybody. It's for your use only!
But why sell it and when you need it wait for it?! Just keep it in there! Plus it won't pay you much coins for them.

Wonderland I have a bunch of the Nuclear Research Centers. I like the options on those. There is a 3 hr, 9 hr, 14hr and 22 hr job. I use the 3 during the day and the 9 overnight. If I get the 3 4 times a day I can make $27,000 per day on that.

The research center has jobs at 10, 28, 42 and 70 hours. I was only making about $15000 a day with that. So I threw it in storage in case I need it for an achievement.

I didn't realize that about the ship design. Although if I get one more thing for the three stooges to help with, I won't get anything done. I want to complete the saw mill. It looked like Catinex had some good options on that one.

Won, I have both the Research Center and the Nuclear Research Center. I like the Nuclear Research Center much better than the other. I prefer the contract times that are offered in the Nuclear RC. I'll try and take a screenshot of them both tonight when I'm at home and I can do it. Then you can decide for yourself.

Kon, I am amazed by how many friends/towns you have on your list! WOW! And your town has certainly grown by leaps and bounds!

Hi Bret!

Maybe the Mayor of the town didn't start any job on his businesses or s/he didn't start to build something.
It happend to me too. But after a while when s/he starts playing and start jobs on businesses you'll be able to help. Take care who you add from the Social Quantum! You may find somebody who quit playing and you are stuck with his town without having the possibility to remove it and what's worst not even being able to help him/her.

This is a good tip too!
If you have players who stoped playing but they left started jobs on their businesses - visit and help their towns anyway - you will earn your coins and the points for leveling up for helping!
