Sighs - I remember stumbling on the Stock Exchange discussion, and thinking it was Christmas! I also remember my first 50 buck franchise. It was from Chilli Town, and I couldn't believe my luck. Suddenly Mt Fuji wasn't just a distant dream. But probably my favourite memory was when I finally "got" the Spin To Win Glitch. It seemed like I was the last person on earth to get it working...everyone else was raking in the bucks, and all I did was waste money trying to 'tap and hold'. Then one magical day, I saw that 120 figure hold while bucks signs clicked into place, and I think I squealed!! I joined this forum when I was a brand new Mum, pretty much tied to home with a newborn, and often glued to my chair when feeding. (Does anyone remember the 'squirting' conversations in chat??). My baby girl has now just turned one, and I am watching her change and grow along with the forum. Isn't it great??? |

Kiwi it took me ages to learn the STW too. Watched Kon's video how many times tapping with my finger to get the timing right!!! lol Never won big but enough to retire gracefully!!! lol - hehee do remeber converstion - lol
and lucky for me the compounding was still working for the last land upgrade! i made my coin with Notre Dames and luxury suites! - must admit i have turned into a bit of a hoarder with my coin hoping for another land windfall!

Kiwi- thanks for sharing your memories.
Besides the night that Snibull announced the winners of the Best of the Best (I was a brand new newbie), has to be the night in the Tiki Bar when Snibull said I pushed her out of the way (to get to the men) and she fell on the floor-with drink in hand. The conversation is priceless and always a good laugh to reread.
But- my fondest memories are in the MTAnimal thread. This is where Raven and I met. People read the threads just to see what we were up to. Someone even said we were like a morning radio show. Oh the laughs!! The grand entrances of our new animals, being a carrot bookie since we could never keep up with the list. I swear everybody was named Jenn!!, the big party to introduce Snowball, Awe running the lemonade stand, (my town crashed after that party!) and let us not forget the soap dispenser!! The Deer Hunter videos that haunted me. Getting a lecture because Raven wanted her title to be changed to - Sir never stops posting!! Birdwatcher black bag operation, my avatar making Facebook! (I thought the FBI was after me using all those military terms!) And it all ended with us trying to save the animals. It didn’t work!! LOL
Looking forward to adding a lot more great memories!
