Not a great lover of this game it has a few problems now in the last few days I cannot play it as its crashed and it plays an annoying harp sound 2 days now and no game play very annoying!!

I find the game to be glitchy at times. Once I couldn't see my friends' towns for a month. I didn't even have the origin icon when I went into the game. I would suggest contacting EA but I have done that in the past and received no help when I have trouble with the game. Hopefully, when they update from the Valentine's theme, it will fix your problem.  |

Hope so I'm giving up on it I will miss the end of the valentines thing and lose all my 600 hearts I have collected I once loved this game not now I'm fed up with all these glitches  |

I am so-so on the game right now... I am at level 12 but it seems nothing has opened up for me in the "store" for levels 10 and 11.

You have to make sure to do all the tasks. Then things should start moving along.  I had the same thing happen to me early on and my son directed me to do those. Hope that helps. I am curious to see what EA does with the update. |

Sni - if you google: ea forums, then go to: the Simpsons tapped out form ea forum, then go to: FAQ and lastly go to: building guide . . . . It will give you some hints on when and how the buildings become available in the game. Good Luck. Didn't want to double post so will modify! Hearts gone!  I lost some. HAVE to update to continue now! Update went OK. Maybe those further into the game may see what really has been added. Thought we would have the whole day to use our hearts. |

Hi Susie - thanks for the info but I am soooo unable to find the topic you posted - would you mind posting the link or PMing it to me? I appreciate the help. For instance, homer has a task to build the control building but I go to buy it and it says I must be on level 11, but I'm on level 12. Same thing with the reactor core and a couple other items. I may be missing something so the link might help me find out what it is?! Again - thank you  |

Hearts are gone! I was expecting something for St. Patrick's Day. Looks like they added what was already there. Ralphie and his house and a new restaurant "El Chemistri". And the Popsicle stick skyscraper. Which costs $2mil!!  . I have had these in my store for over a week now, so I'm not sure why the update listed them as new. There is a tie in to Sunday night's episode with Grandpa. So I expect that he will have a storyline and a new outfit. Sort of like what they did with Homer for Mr. Plow. I can't see it now because Grandpa is busy with another task. They added a billboard for Grandpa but it costs donuts. And some other decs that were already there ( tether ball, swing set, police car and a rabbit hedge). |

It's all in the way you complete the character's quests and not the level. Ran into some of the same things you are encountering.

Susie - Thank you again. Once I found the page with the info, I bookmarked it for easy access. I definitely have lots of missed opportunities I need to read about. Seems like sending everyone on random quests that fit my time for playing is not ideal ... Lol

They added a new costume and quests for Grandpa. I won't give away the surprise if you haven't seen it yet. I didn't have a lot of time last night, so that was all I noticed that was different. Sni, I ran into the same thing when trying to get Santa's Little Helper. It was driving me crazy especially since I knew I had limited time to get him. When my characters were done with a task, I would just give them another one to keep the coins coming in. I didn't realize that I should wait a minute or two to see if the game asks for one, so I wasn't getting all the required tasks done. In addition to the ea link, you might want to check out these links for help. Now I have to go look at my game, I honestly don't remember doing anything with Mr. Plow. Updated game , lost hearts, fortunately didn't have many left and now have encountered my first glitch! When I tap on the little mice (at least that's what they look like) at the Kwik Mart to get the Scracth lottery ticket that cost 250 game bucks, my game crashes! Guess since they added the ticket to purchase it has affected the original one. Did a logout and re-login and that didn't help. Went to the game without logging in and same thing hsppened. Anyone else have this happening in their game? |

I just clicked on Itchy & Scratchy and was able to get a scratch ticket to open up and scratch it. The only thing that bothers me is that after it told me that I won 350 game bucks it told me that if I had bought the $.99 scratcher I would have won 6 donuts. Hope they stop that garbage really quick. I won't even spend a dollar on a real scratch ticket where I stand the slimmest of chances of being lucky enough to win my dollar back.

Went back and tried again and was able to get the ticket and no crash! No popup about what I would have won with the golden ticket. Will see what happens the next time I get the ticket opportunity. |

I think Mr. Plow may have been a premium character purchased with donuts. I have been spending real money to get the premium characters. I'm not sure why other than I like to see them running around my town. My Itchy and Scratchy ticket seem to be working. I am not happy about looking at the .99 ticket and if it shows me how many donuts I could have won, that will irritate me. |
