Anyone had any luck with this glitch in the getaways version? Snibull- this is a glitch that isn't/wasn't guaranteed to happen every time. It happened probably 5x times to me. Even though I know what I was doing when it happened, I can not re-produce every time. |

I stayed up to check the unlimited green bucks and it didn't work tonight. I was able to get it to work before getaways several times in a row. But this time it simply went to the buck pop-up without freezing. So this is one of those random times it didn't work or the glitch has been patched. We'll need some more fails to say for sure. I also agree that franchises are probably the best bet for bucks especially without the STW. It's still going to be hard for newbies to get ahead...  |

I also agree that franchises are probably the best bet for bucks especially without the STW. It's still going to be hard for newbies to get ahead... I am happy to report that last night the glitch/stick with the Daily Reward worked for me. I was able to get an extra 10,000 bucks for my Getaways - whenever I upgrade. Took me about an hour. I am still playing the old version for now. I had a job set and waited until 12:04 to set it, and Bingo. |

I am so anxious to update to the new game, but I guess I've gotten greedy and I want to make sure I have enough bucks to last forever... or for a long while. I know that eventually Booyah will force me to update to the new game. |

That was me in the last land update Cat - was caught short and had to work "a wee bit" lol to clear land - hustled to build up a reserve for this one! Plus I like micro franchising so need my buck reserve!!!!  thank you STW glitch while it lasted!!! Lol |

Hey Cat - micro or mini franchising is going to a mayors town and franchising a business that i can afford - these are usually the low popularity businesses - buying this franchise will only give that mayor 1-? Bucks but it is almost another way if gifting -
I don't keep the business - as soon as it starts building in my city I hit edit and sell the business. I get a small portion back in coin - so that helps build my coin reserve as well!

Since I have learned of this trick a few days ago, it has worked every day. Of course this is on the old version and not the Gateways version. I would like to update, but can't give up the free bucks just yet.
Also, I have figured out that one doesn't have to stay up to midnight to make it work. Every morning when I turn on the game, or at anytime during the day, you can get the buck glitch to work. The trick is to be quick and have a business ready to be collected.
So, after you open the game after an extended period of it being off, it will go through a picture screen and loading status bar at the bottom. Once it loads, your town's top northern zoomed in corner will appear (this is also the corner thats viewed when you start a new game)
Anyways, have a tall business that you will be able to click on to collect the coins/star. Next, quickly click on the set a job oval.
(this will work on any size business, but its easier for me to miss on collecting the coin/star, therefore, not wasting any time and missing the opportunity to open the job screen before the daily reward screen appears)
UPDATE: better yet, don't bother setting a job for any size business the night before you turn it off. Leave it on the zzz's - ready for the next day of just clicking it (saving some time of not having to deal with the coins/star)
After you select any job (3m, 15m, 1hr, 4hr); all the new pop ups for the day will appear, and then the daily reward of which you will be able to click on for as many bucks as you like.
Also, you can collect on coins / check-ins or whatever else are in the early stages of collection if you have missed a day and then start the daily rewards over.

This sucks! Wish I had known about the glitch before I updated!Anybody know how to reverse the update? Probably a silly question... I still have both apps on my iPad but when I go to the old one it forces me to update again (after I deleted the new one). I guess I'm just confused as to why the old icon app is still there. Bummer. Guess I need to check in here more often!

I have tried the buck trick for 3 days and it does not work. It worked every time before I updated. The stw trick has also been fixed. I updated, and wish I hadn't. Itbwasbmorenfun experimenting, tearing down, and rebuilding. And I really don't even use the "getaways". To live and learn I guess.

I feel the same foxxland. I had gotten used to that STW wheel. It had become like another game to me and I miss it. It definitely has been fixed as you say because I also know how to do it but it just doesn't work anymore.  |
