Beats me this whole American Football caper but this looks like a fun game! Here in New Zealand it's rugby all the way, just watched the All Blacks beat the Springboks woohoo!!  I guess I'm going for Alabama, I like their team colours |

I won't be here for the game. Kick off is 6pm for the Rugby.... 'Come on you reds' which is what we shout here! That and a lot of 'getum on side ref' lol. So I'll be off watching that and drowning my sorrows as we are probably going to lose lol. Save me some of that hog roast ... I've left the condiments in the back of Ams truck for you all. |

Aggg! I'm DVRing the game- bear with me!! Game time started 30 minutes ago and I'm just now sitting down to watch it!!

Bear is a pun because it's a homophone of the word "bare".
It was often used by Shakespeare and was used back in the Elizabethan age.
"bear" is short for "forbearance" meaning to endure, tolerate or sustain.
Is that what you were thinking?
PS. I didn't realize you had this American Football Game going - and just chose the only biz in your town to franchise and low and behold - I saw this game and it looks like I've choosen the wrong side thus far...purely by accident... so don't hold it against me...LOL
