Well they decided to conspire together this morning. It appears that at least one of the cats got up on the counter and knocked over my container of chestnuts. I'm not sure, but by the way he is acting I'd have to say the dog helped open the container. He has that "I know I was naughty, but you love me anyway" look. I called the vet to double check and thankfully they're not toxic to either cats or dogs. Guess it's back to crawling around the house with a flashlight looking under things to see if they hid any or if they ate them all.

you gotta love them - I love that they work together in their mischief! Mr. Puss drags my necklaces off the dresser - he has a favorite - beaded little stones - and chewed on it for 10 seconds then discards it!

Pet stories are the best. All of those are so cute and sweet. When they look at you with their big " I didn't do it eyes" you can't be mad. My Cats love the Christmas Tree I only hope they don't knock it over this year. They do almost ever year.

Duke, my husband had to put a screw in the wall & use fishing line to keep the cats from taking the tree down.
Lol Raven. They all go nuts in my house once the tree goes up. The best part is that every morning the dog goes over and looks for his presents. He goes bonkers on Christmas morning when he sees that Santa has finally left him something.
I'll have to post a picture of the gang as soon as I have a chance.
Update on the puppy, I called the vet again because he vomited & was able to talk to my vet. She suggested that I give him some high fiber canned food to help prevent any sharp edges on the shells form hurting him and speed the exit process along. So he's as happy as can be, he thinks he's getting a treat.

Lol Raven, believe it or not the throw is there just for the cats. That's one of their favorite spots in the house. In effort to reduce the amount that I have to vacuum the furniture, it's all covered with blankets.
Sni, he's very innocent looking. He'll look at you and you just know he's thinking "I know that you know that I did something wrong and you know that I know that you're going to love me anyway. So let's just move on and play fetch." He's really a good boy..... most of the time. He's very smart, it's like having a 2-year-old around the house without the tantrums.
