I was trying to remember as well. I'm never short of this item. It takes me half an hour to visit all 60 friends, even at elixir speed, but what I get out of it is lots of energy and other stuff.

I got an update for the game tonight. Don't do it unless the game makes you do it. I can no longer send gifts. Every time I try, it wants me to log into FB. I just sent them feedback telling them that this is unacceptable. I don't use FB for games and don't appreciate them trying to force me to log into it.

I had already started this update when I read your warning, Leilani. I don't mind if the game connects to my Facebook, but getting a second window to click "no" to every time I send a gift is annoying.

Still no sign of a quest or getting to the last of the research. I. May have to drop the game altogether.

Judy, when it connects to your FB does it give you the option to not post? I'm getting quests, but when I look at the scroll the last thing I have on there is to get the tiger cows. I'm just going to wait it out a little bit and work on researching in my lab before I make a final decision on the game. I sent them a rather terse e-mail last night about the whole FB thing. I doubt anything will change, but when I'm unhappy someone has to get yelled at.

I was wondering what was going on with the gift giving. Hitting the cancel button every time is annoying. I am glad someone gave them a piece of their mind. Thanks ladies for all the gifts. In the face book game I read somewhere that the professor had an island. Is that still the case. There is plenty of land to expand into if they want to continue. I still like the game and am making some progress. The dirt ground change isn't a good one, I had to get rid of most of it on my farm. Not really sure what they were thinking!

I assumed it was something from face book as it showed up when they messed with us with that annoyance. At any rate it's cute.
Finally got into the last expansion. I would really like them to go further with this game and territory.
Haven't as yet gotten into hay day. It's started but not really sure I like it.

I am starting to play this game again, as they have finally opened up the last research areas and are giving me goals to complete. My main time is being spent on Hay Day. We are having a rocky go there, as they have changed some of the game dynamics.

For some reason, I am getting 1 or 2 requests for friends on BFT every day. I am not currently taking time to visit other farms, but am collecting and sending gifts.

The game did give me quests for awhile, and opened up a few more items in the research area. But, now I am back to plodding. I have decided to go in once a day to handle gifts and to work on a task of my own devising. Currently, I am working on increasing the level of one of the advanced seeds.

A quest that seemed to take forever involved raising 15 Panda Rabbits. Getting the materials to hatch them without spending gems, and then growing them took over 2 weeks.

I think the authors of this game focus on the Facebook version and give passing attention to the ipad version.

The new update is interesting. Is anyone still playing this? My friends list isn't showing any of you and it looks like you, but when I checked game center it shows that you've played since you disappeared form my list.

Leilani I am still playing and the new update is quite interesting with new land etc. Judy dropped off my list and its possible that you have also but I think I remember seeing you.

There seem to be more chops for trees and rocks and there seem to be more trees and rocks dropped on my farm than there used to be.

I am still enjoying the game, never could get into hey day but am doing the Simpsons.

There are definitely more chops for rocks and trees. I'm not sure what the high number is on the trees now, but the rocks have gone as high as 10 so far. There are quite a few decorations that I don't remember seeing before so I think they're new too. I like that they made it easier to navigate around the lab. It was a pain to try and find something that you needed in order to create something else. The only other thing I would like to see with the lab would be for it to go the first open lab space if you click on something from the task list. It always goes to the first space even if it's in use and it can take forever to go through to some of the higher number items especially since it doesn't seem to take much to slow the game down.

I agree with Leilani that navigating around the Lab is much easier since the update. I'm still surprised that I easily completed the new goals and there are no more forthcoming at my level. I do get to the game most everyday. There are more random trees and rocks to clear. I do that, spend enough energy to get a free shot from feeding the cat, and take care of gifts. I'm not visiting much anymore, and 407Mom says I was dropped from her Friends list.

Judy you guys were dropped from mine too. It's as though anyone who was added through GC has been dropped. Not happy about it, I enjoyed seeing your farms when I visited. I've given up on visiting everyone now, it just takes too long even with the speed up elixir and I still have to close the game and restart it 2 or 3 times while visiting to keep it from getting too slow. I've decided that I'm only going to visit farms that are likely to have what I need to complete a task. Last night it was clear rocks, so I visited my lower level neighbors because they usually have rocks.

One thing I wish we could do, is upgrade the part of the lab that makes materials. It seems like I'm always low on toxin lately and it's tedious to keep making it. It would also be nice if we could sell or somehow get rid of some of the older materials (like ribbon) that were required for a task that we won't use again to remove some of the clutter when looking through the warehouse.

Something new I noticed is people are making requests for paint separate from their wish lists. I'm guessing it's because it's needed for a task (like making the gnome) but I don't recall being able to do that.

A major update is out for The Big Farm Theory. I have lots and lots of tasks to do, and have been enjoying the challenge.

It bothers me that the game has dropped the people here I actually communicate with. But, I seem to have a large number of "friends" anyway.

The new tasks frequently require us to "ask" for items. This is where having many neighbors really helps. I must have asked for about 8 different items today, and the game does not limit me from asking the same people. Some are not playing, but others respond immediately.

A fun quest involved building a boat, or rather rebuilding it. It took me all day, but it is done. I wish you could come and see it. There were 10 phases, each one earning a barrel of I'm not sure what that was needed in the final task.

I am glad I spent time upgrading all research to at least level 3 and trying to make items like plasma and mutagem, etc when I had nothing to focus on. Now, I find I am back to having to grow Strawberry Volcanos to make Amber Paint. I had so many crops to plant today for tasks, I had no room to plant a forest to chop down. I need more amber and soon will need toxin once again. My toxin amounts had built up during the slow times.

I have so much wood and plenty of cash that they have been in ample supply. I ran through a bunch of gems speeding up tasks, so I spent $20 today. I don't really want to spend money on this game, but it felt so good to be making progress again!

I like the new update with the exception that it really seems to run slow and it appears that I'm not getting credit to level up. I've been stuck at the beginning of level 46 with no movement on the progress bar since I did the update. I've been frustrated more than once when getting close to the 8x reward only to lose it because the game hangs up. It's also really irritating that I can no longer be game friends with people from GC who (as you mentioned Judy) are people I actually talk to.

I've almost got the boat done, but I need more barrels of whatever that is so I guess I have to complete the rests of the associated tasks to get it. Unfortunately, it seems like it is a lot harder to get boards from chopping down forests so it looks like I'll have to make some in the lab which will take a while.

My biggest issue right now is running out of toxin. I just can't get it fast enough for all the things I need to make with it.

Well the good news is, I opened my game and whatever glitch that was preventing progress resolved so I suddenly went from no progress to halfway done with level 46. Unfortunately, now it seems that I can't collect items for Mother's Day. I think it's time to e-mail them about the GC friends issue, the loss of 8x bonuses because the game bogs down and the fact that it seems like they changed the algorithm so it's ridiculously hard to get materials that you need for tasks. I bought at least 10 medium stone forests and broke stones on as many of my 150+ friend's farms that I could but could not come up with 8 pieces of aluminum.

On a positive note, I discovered treasure chests at some of my friend's farms. It's pretty cool, but I had to buy extra help a friend actions to open them because they require 5 or 6 actions to open and they pop up on the 5th or 6th action. It does give you the option to not open them, but I don't know if they will disappear or if they will still be there when you go back the next day.

Edit: I just stumbled on a way to re-add people. If you go to friends and click on invite friend you can either add them through FB or use their id # which unfortunately is a really long number that is far too small for me to be able to read. If you can make out yours, I can add you.

So ladies or anyone who is playing how do I delete a neighbor from my list ? I have quite a few that no longer play and would like to be rid of them. Any suggestions?

I tried looking at my game I'd number and it is way to small so until I find a magnifier that will have to wait. I would like you two as neighbors again!

Has any one figured out how to get the Mother's Day items to fulfill the quest?

I never stopped playing the game so I am really liking the new update. So much easier to visit random farms and get stuff.
