Mom, if you haven't already added it to your wish list could you please add it. My ability to gift won't come back until just about the time I'm turning in for the night, but I'll start with people looking for nuts & bolts first to make sure I don't give you something else.

Just read your request for nuts and bolts, Mom. I'll try to remember tomorrow.

Thank you everyone that sent nuts and bolts! I finally have enough and finished the bridge! Thank you Chazani you sent the last one I needed!
Judy I received a winged horse, thanks so much. Sent some pink looking pod things that you had on your wish list in return.
Any advice on my next leg?
Leilani, I read about your frustrating day or two, I feel bad for you but it was terribly funny reading about it cause we have all been there and can relate.

So it looks like nuts and bolts are a reoccurring nightmare. I need another 30 to finish the blast furnace. Please keep gifting them if you don't mind. I am gifting everyone nuts so that maybe they will thank me in return. Is this an item that is required often in the finishing of buildings and such? Thanks

Lol Mom, glad I could make you laugh. I learned a long time ago, if you can't laugh at things like that you'll make yourself nutty.
It seems like nuts and bolts are useful to have on hand even if you don't need them at the moment. I can't remember exactly how many things need them, but whenever I did need them I didn't seem to have enough.

I sent you a "Thank" gift yesterday, Mom, and then could not send Nuts and Bolts. Live and learn, I guess.
It has been about 3 days since I've had a Quest to complete, and it seems odd. I'm realizing I like completing the challenges more than just farming as usual. I'm thinking things will open up as soon as I level up again. I never can tell how close I am, as the guage is not very accurate, and I haven't found a way to tell how many more xp I need which would let me estimate how far away I am.

So my Mr Wizard disappeared, what do I do? Am supposed to harvest food at his farm. Hard closed reopened, nothing. Does anyone know how many gifts from other people's supplies you can get in a day. I know only one gift per person but I know I can sent quite a few from my stash to a friend.

He disappears from time to time. I really don't know why. I lost him night before last and am just waiting for him to come back. I thought it had to do with the tasks I have right now, but if you don't have him either then that's not it.

So I am stuck on finishing the building in the second expansion because I need to get Hypnos which I can't do until I have a magneto, or something like that and that isn't open to me yet. Do I just keep plugging away at raising my level until the magnetic thing is available? Also is there any advantage to making the flying elephant? Thanks in advance for any info!

It did take a bit to get to the point where I could finish each expansion. They all seem to require something you don't have and need to ask for or can't get when the expansion first becomes available. I'm working on building up research items since I have to keep feeding the dog and then who knows what else to get into the next expansion. I hit a huge road block just trying to get the tiger cows going and then getting 10 of them to put in storage. As for the flying elephant, I have no idea. I never even noticed him.

I have not gone for the Flying Elephant. I've seen it on other farms, and it does not appeal to me.
Nice going on your expansion, Mom. You have lots of space at the moment. You could plant a medium forest and chop it down. I usually do 2 of these a day, back to back, to get all 7 levels of bonus. I like it best when the final prize is toxin.

Level 47
No sign of a quest to work on, but I had picked up 2 speed-up elixirs yesterday, along with 800+ feed in last night's visits. This morning, I had no guest help at first, so I sped through my farm, harvesting everything, chopping down 2 medium forests and 4 medium stones, replacing 5 horses, 20 cows, and 10 pigs, all in 20 minutes (as noted from what was left on the speedup). Because I had planted all the seeds I had accumulated in my warehouse last night, my feed count was back up over 800 when I finished. I loaded up my energy to over 200 when I started.
All this, plus last night's and this morning's bonuses from my buildings, gave me enough to create Amber Paint. I'm getting used to not having quests, and I did not spend any gold at all. It has been hard to not buy the speed up fertilizer. I do spend 3 gold on the speed up elixir before visiting farms or chopping most of the time.
There are still several items in the Research area that are locked. I think I am about halfway through level 47.

The dog is starting to get on my nerves. The other day, it said I had a couple hours left until I could feed him. Well, I got busy and didn't check until much later and it said that I had 24 hours to feed him. It did the same thing to me yesterday. Judy, does he somehow stop being hungry if you don't feed him right away? I just have to feed him 2 more times to hopefully get into my next expansion, but I'd already be done by now if the game didn't reset the feeding clock on me. I also can't get enough materials to do the research that I need to do. That combined with the frequent game crashes is starting to really annoy.

The dog seems to go on with life if you don't feed him right away. This might result in more monsters, but I don't have a firm sense of this. Anyway, I have lots of monster weapons and appreciate the extra feed I get when one is killed.
I no longer worry about the dog. One round of asking for meat usually lasts 4 or 5 days. I do pay attention to the cat and have done better at using up my energy before feeding her and getting a full energy load again. Then, I feed the dog if he's hungry.
Have you noticed that if you touch the middle of the new array of monster weapons, the game chooses the correct one? Much easier for me.
I put some of my hybrid animals that I had in storage on display, even though it means feeding them. I think it's the Leopard Chickens that are letting me complete the collection that gives me the speed-up elixir. Anyway, I've been able to speed up in the morning when I chop a couple of forests and stones and then in the evening when I visit other farms.
Have spent no gold in 2 or 3 days, and my total is actually going up thanks to the gold mine which produces 1 per day.

Level 48
Still no sign of a quest. Several research projects unavailable, so I chug along. I'm up to over 60 "friends" now and don't need to visit Random neighbors anymore. I chose to visit some just because and had fun chopping rocks. I seem to get more gems at neighbors than on my own farm.
Mom, your farm is looking ver prosperous! I sprung for some gold so I could chop some trees for you after spending my free energy feeding animals. I no longer keep golden energy on hand for neighbors, as I tend to spend it when I miscount or miss hit items.
Leilani, I didn't notice my cat needed to be fed when I bulked up my energy before going around my farm this afternoon. When she was out of commission, I did not get the boost that shows up 2x, 3x, etc. Once I expended all the energy and fed her, the boosts came back.

Judy, it's possible to get the boost without the cat but you have to tap to pick up your rewards as you're doing other things. Usually this quick tapping causes my game to crash, so I don't do it all that often. It would be nice if the cat gave you some notice that he was getting hungry so that you could plan on feeding him, especially since he doesn't always keep up as I move around the farm.
The good news is I finally got my last expansion. I had to sell all my crops in storage because I couldn't wait to build up my cash supply by feeding and selling animals. I'm about half way through fixing the portal, but in desperate need of funds as I am also trying to rebuild my supply of crops and I still haven't been able to do a lot of the research that I need to clear tasks. I can't get the supplies needed to do the research for the dopler eggplant and atomic broccoli. I'm tempted to buy some gold to do the research, but I've been good so far. Now if they offer a special on it, all bets are off.
I think the plan of action for now is to build up my crop supply, accumulate cash, and finish the portal so that I don't have to take the long way around the farm. I want to redecorate, but these games are killing the battery on my phone and I don't want to run it down moving things around.

What's the best way to get nitrogen? I forgot where I get it from? Thanks. Moving along slowly but surely.

The only way I remember that I got it was doing work at neighbors' farms. I'm sure there were other ways, but that's the only one I can think of right now. The only problem is, I can't remember if it was chopping trees or picking crops or both. I tried sending you a collection item yesterday, did you notice if you got it? I wish there was a way to pull up friends wanting particular items from the collection window and not just when you're accepting a gift.
