Anybody here with towns from SF bay area? Or anywhere in California? I wanted to franchise businesses with premium skins (in coins, unfortunately). I can't really afford super popular businesses in NY. I know I can change my location, but I'm hesitant to delete the app and reinstall. So searching friends' towns would be the easier route. I've franchised from YarnGoddess a few times --- coz' I see that most of her businesses are in Cali -- but I think I've franchised all that I can afford from her town. (Thanks for having premium skins.) Anyone else? (I wish I can franchise in bucks, but I've hit the darn upgrade button twice already and lost all the franchise earnings I have received from Candy Land  Now I'm down to only 10 bucks. I'll never be able to afford Mt. Fuji!  ) how do you change locations? |

My Town blanks out and sends me back to my iPod's home screen. As a result, every time I collect revenue, gifts and franchises (thank you), or start new jobs, I exit and if I can, also save on iTunes. When I go out of the house, I don't check the game anymore because I don't want to chance losing anything. By holding the iPod's Home button, that shows all the apps running in the background. Should the MT2 game be closed there too? Anyone else experiencing the same? Or something else? How are you preventing losses? Hey Licat, I'm playing on an iPhone, so I'm always connected to the "internet". I also play on a WiFi iPad, but I never play when I'm not connected to the internet. I think the safest way is to always have an internet connection while you play. Bridgid said she lost progress when she was playing outside of WiFi connection. If you close the app in the multi-tasking area (home button twice - hold finger on MT2 app - hit "minus sign") that should close the app and save your progress on the device and server. Hope this helps. |

Hey Sol! I am so glad you asked.  1. Titles aren't being used in the posts. Titles help readers follow a particular topic they are interested in. I rely heavily on the titles to find topics that people are talking about and/or asking questions (so I can help, if I can.) Greatly enlarge the Reply button on the bottom right? Discourage the use of the Quick Reply box on the bottom left because the posting person cannot insert a title? 2. Quotes are in tiny font. I tried to enlarge it, but obviously have not figured how to do it. *duh* 3. I don't mind contributing to the kitty. How do I do that so I know for sure the money is credited to our forum? 4. A simple how-to instruction thread for ProBoard? Who else hates the ads that pop up on this board?  I purchased 14 credits in the "Make this Board Ad-Free" section of ProBoards. I will apply the credits towards March and April, so we will have no ads for those two months!! Moving forward - anyone that wants to pitch in is able to purchase as little as 1 credit ($1.00) that will go into the "pot" and can be used for future months. We will not be able to restore your towns, but we will be providing you with ample Coins/Bucks to rebuild it as compensation. Please give us sometime to complete this, and if you have not yet sent in your Booyah/User ID and your town's level, please follow up the email you sent us with that information. well I got the official email that said sorry we cannot restore your town, but we've awarded you bucks to compensate.  I'm deciding if I want to get back into this game, I was really disappointed losing all my level 9 businesses and the businesses I've traveled to obtain like the Paris resort in Vegas or dunkin donuts and Logan airport in Massachusetts. I don't even have my friends anymore, I was hoping to franchise some of their businesses, I just have to put it out there, this really sucks. I'm discouraged too much today to pick it back up, maybe tomorrow, maybe not. Respectfully Do I even have a town name anymore? Good question......

Lol. Gracegirl, you are really good with comedy. I had a good chuckle reading what you have posted. Solsville, I generally ignore the ads unless they take up a huge amount of space. Banner ads can be ignored easily. It's the ones that pop up and float in your face th at gets irritating And I'm glad we have a dedicated forum here. We released a bug-filled half-ass update that apparently caused the deletion of the towns of several players. 2. We can't restore your town as we apparently keep no back-ups of your towns on our servers. 3. We will give you coins and bucks to rebuild. However, we will not be giving you any access to previously acquired special limited items from events. 4. Have a nice day and keep playing. Anybody else really not liking Booyah right now? |

Hey Everyone, My town is called MOON City. I just started playing. How long has this game been out for? Someone told me it was the "new" game. I have a few Questions. I only have 30 bucks but i have not spent a buck yet so...
What is the first thing I should save my bucks for?
Im tempted to buy a nice apartment or something but i have a feeling ill be pissed when i want to start saving for something else
Also, Whats the goal with Franchising?
Can i create my own business since the one near my house is not there? where would i go to do that?

Solsville!!!!!! Noooo!!!!! Gimme my quick reply box back! LOL I have used that myself. I love it because I can just start typing at the bottom of the thread rather than make a reply.. But Ill survive without it fine, if the majority of your posters dont like the quick post reply.
Ingenuousca, Please dont quit!! Just remember the rest of us can help you build back some of what you lost. Well the ones that arent Limited edition (Booyah NEEDS to make those available under a special store tab called Holiday Premiums). Let us know if theres anything we can do to help you out..

ingenuousca: It's been a tough couple of weeks, with a number of folks having lost their towns. I 've lost some things before but I cannot completely know how horrible it feels to lose an entire town. But like member sharazani just wrote, a lot of members will want to help you build a newer, possibly better town. Maybe other members who needed help can attest to this fact? |

Sorry to hear about your business. I do not believe that you can purchase the Eiffel Tower as a business. I own Disneyland, and the following businesses in Paris:
