aw5678: Just visited your town. What a unique idea to arrange things on a diagonal. Several times I've remodeled my businesses to what they should be, but I haven't been able to bring myself to delete the many SEs that I have. I will take your advice and wait until the big update and when new lands *desperately hoping* are made available. Grace girl, your a crack up.  Finished up my town remodel for the most part... Still kind of adding to and working on my park.  I'm glad I did the over-haul, but half way thru, with houses and trees and road pieces strewn all over the board I felt like throwing in the towel. it looked like the store exploded on my green square. But now things are a bit more orderly, and I've learned my lesson: only reorganize when they give you land to do so in (if you jam as much junk in as I do, anyway). |

And I also 'exalted' you too. (I didn't know what that was for.) OK. I'm very sorry, but I had 2 mayors that when I tried to franchise you back, I had connection problems and I lost your towns. One was a name starting with Q, and I can't remember the other. If you gifted me and I did not franchise you back, please do it again and I will do. I probably franchised about 30 businesses today. Hope you are all having fun, and don't forget to give me good karma by clicking "Exalt" on the left. |

Thanks, I've been wanting to do it for a long time, but have been waiting.... As soon as (if?) we get more land I have to re-do it anyway. Anybody here with towns from SF bay area? Or anywhere in California? I wanted to franchise businesses with premium skins (in coins, unfortunately). I can't really afford super popular businesses in NY. I know I can change my location, but I'm hesitant to delete the app and reinstall. So searching friends' towns would be the easier route. I've franchised from YarnGoddess a few times --- coz' I see that most of her businesses are in Cali -- but I think I've franchised all that I can afford from her town. (Thanks for having premium skins.) Anyone else? (I wish I can franchise in bucks, but I've hit the darn upgrade button twice already and lost all the franchise earnings I have received from Candy Land  Now I'm down to only 10 bucks. I'll never be able to afford Mt. Fuji!  ) |

Has anyone else been subjected to the 2 Billion cap that has been placed on the businesses? it doesnt matter whether i go for 3 min, 30 min, 2 hours or 10 hours. they all pay 2 million. Anyone know what happened?

My Town blanks out and sends me back to my iPod's home screen.
As a result, every time I collect revenue, gifts and franchises (thank you), or start new jobs, I exit and if I can, also save on iTunes. When I go out of the house, I don't check the game anymore because I don't want to chance losing anything.
By holding the iPod's Home button, that shows all the apps running in the background. Should the MT2 game be closed there too?
Anyone else experiencing the same? Or something else?
How are you preventing losses?

Some of the businesses to franchise, in bucks, are scary-expensive! I hoard my bucks, but I'd still never be able to afford a decent popularity biz (they run like $1,500-$2,000!!!!!!!). It'd wipe out my savings... What I'm saving for, who knows, but not that. Anyway, there's a few people on here you might be able to find stuff from. I've got a couple premium skins, but like I said im in southern ca, not northern, so I'm not sure if I'll be bucks or not. Good luck! I'm sure you'll find someone |

moosetown: I am in San Francisco. Close enough? LOL!  I have three premium skins: Toys R Us, Steinhart Aquarium, and French Laundry (Thank You YarnGoddess for that one). They are now wearing their proper skins! There's a bunch of us that hate  that upgrade button . I've hit it several times and lost lots of Bucks that way. Solsville solicited input from the membership mytown2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wish&action=display&thread=32 and one is to either have a confirm y/n button or to move that blankeyblank upgrade button to another place. The creativity of everyone to their own town is just amazing, i can't get tired of visiting various town to see what they are doing. I just hope that upgrade for more land will come soon enough i really don't wanna bulldoze my hedges ( come check it out ) i sacrifice a lot of space for it and losing it will be a disaster because i think it's the signature of my town. I guess i will be a newbie forever coz i don't post enough ;D ;D ;D |
