Does anyone know what happens when you have 10 businesses of one kind, eg restaurants, get the award, then you sell the businesses or reskin? Do you keep or lose the award.

I haven't checked GC in a long time, just saw I have the local legends awards to work for (yeah right, I rarely use checkins). To answer your question, the awards stay. I did all those by changing 9 skins to a specific kind then franchising the 10th. Someone posted to do this. It doesn't work when you change the skin of 10 businesses (or didn't when I tried).

Delete your current businesses and build new ones.

how do they expect you to get these. I changed 9 skins to the desired mogul and then bought/franchised the last one. It won't work by just changing 10 skins. Repeat until you get them all.

Here it is in pictures. Let's try it with Clothing businesses. Change 9 existing businesses into "Clothing" by changing the skin. Next, buy one Clothing business and add to your town. "Clothing Mogul" Achievement is awarded. Check your Game Center achievements and it will show up as completed. Now, notice that we still need "Salon" and "Market" achievements. Let's try it with Salon businesses - Change 9 businesses to Salons. Buy and add one more Salon. (You can delete the Clothing Business that you just purchased above - and not lose the achievement). Bam! You achieved the "Salon Mogul" Achievement. Notice the achievement is awarded in Game Center. Our last one to accomplish is the "Market Mogul". Let's wrap it up with the Market Mogul. Again, change 9 businesses to "Market". Buy and add a "Market" and you have achieved the last award. Market Mogul had been awarded. ALL Game Center achievements are completed.

Since DragonVale requires going through GameCenter to add friends, I started looking at stats for MT2. As of a few minutes ago, I was
2952 of 3,298,284 all time players, yet only 11th of My Town friends (all gained via this forum).
764 of 225,064 today's players and 8th of My Town friends.
With knowledge gained from the forum and help from forum friends, we are near the top of the pack! Considering that I joined the forum only a month ago, I find the results astonishing!
Many thanks to those who give us guidance and help.

Mytown2 is really the only game I play. I'm wondering if I should be on game center. Is it worth joining just for mytown2?

Sol, thanks so much for posting this. I noticed I was lacking in several types and wondered what I was doing wrong. Now I've achieved them all!

I see that this thread is for the Game Center Achievements, but is there a thread for the In-Game Goals? I am interested to find out if there are any other goals to look forward to after the Doorstep Check-ins.

Mogul Achievement in the Game Center and how to complete it. Posted by Solsville ProBoards Post #1031, Feb 6, 2012, 11:33 AM Hey All, I thought I'd pass along a cool tip about hitting the "Mogul Achievements" in the game center (Build 10 of each kind of business). Switch 9 of your current businesses over to the business type that you are wanting to achieve. Then buy a new business of that same type. Bam! Mogul Achievement achieved! Then of course you can switch everything back to how you want. Or repeat this process on each business type until you hit each mogul achievement. Solsville, USA ID: 30576639 This was very helpful to me. It took me a bit of time to come across this information and thought it was worth a bump.

I thought this would be a good place to have this information at hand. You can look to see what skins you are looking for to complete your group of 10 businesses in the same category.Images compiled and courtesy of member nyteowl post #1588 Proboards Feb 15, 2012, 02:12 PM and shared again by the courtesy of member licat under tips, post 6091

As you can see I achieved 'Working Class Citizen' for Bronze, Silver, and Gold. However, my Gold trophy is Bronze in color and right below it I seem to be working on another Gold with 90% completed. I have many thousands of jobs completed. Yet this states I will get the achievement when I complete 2,000 jobs. Has anyone else ran across this situation?
