The new lands look like a lot of fun, my 6 year old is going to be ecstatic tomorrow morning... He does a lot of the decorating....
My only question is since it downloaded a whole new app, are we deleting the other MT2 app?

If you upgrade... 1. You lose the spin to win glitch 2. You CANNOT go back to your original MT2. I deleted the upgrade and when I click the original icon, it forces me to the update. 3. Not sure in the daily reward. I will test and report back. make sure you have enough coins and bucks from the original before you upgrade. My free spins carried over. I tried using the daily reward glitch tonight and it didn't work for me. I have not updated yet ... Was hoping to get more bucks before doing so. It has worked for me a few times before. Has anyone else tried it? I will certainly miss that glitch.  |

I was a bit wary about downloading the new getaway but I think I'm going to like it  ..... Although have just noticed im getting a considerable amount of less coins for my housing each hour. Are others finding this? Is it because my stake of snowglobes aren't effective now? |

Ok first, the 2nd Getaway costs 50,000 coins. Kiwi - my 2nd getaway cost 2,400,000 to unlock. Can anyone confirm the amount? Is it different for different players?! Mine cost 2,400,000. I cleared alot of land before I looked at the second destination. Maybe that's the reason for the difference in price? |

I love having a new place to build. I'm not complaining, but i had bought all the land in my town, so I put everything back to normal (sold of all the stupid stock exchanges, put all the business back from offices). I thought 4,000,000 coins would be enough to hold me for a little while. I spent them at the lake in about 10 minutes.
I know it sounds an aweful lot like complaining...lol

It worked for me last night. I haven't updated yet either Thanks, topher! I will definitely try again then, before updating to the new game. We're you in edit mode, or were you waiting to set a job on a business? What I do is check-in to all my businesses about 15 minutes or so before, and then I set all jobs to three minutes. Then I just keep my fingers moving resetting three minute jobs. I would say that 9 out of 10 times I get the glitch. |

Definitely less rent, apparently a new government regulation. I had 8 snow globes, 2 Notre Dames, and a Cathedral. Was getting 111 coins for the cheapest house. Now the income is 34 coins. That's HUGE if comparable in the larger units. I had wanted to move to the beach and build a mansion with Wally. But sadly, I spent most of my savings just clearing land and some of the water.  Did buy a few new things but nothing extravagant, and I've spent 18million! Moved a few Hawaii businesses, but can't buy any new ones. Guess the total business limit is still 36, and I think the income is the same either place??? Has any one compared? Obviously folks won't want to move the wonders to their getaways. Luckily, Wally has let me have the use of his private plane. I've been traveling to Sandy Beach a lot. Had one visitor,but don't know how they got there. |

i tried to click just 'trade' but it just puts the item in my town.
I like the winery
I'm not a fan of the giant robot (but my little boy was thrilled about it)

Clicking trade did the same for me. Just puts the item in the town to place. Also, to get an item you have to buy wonders, do check-ins, build businesses to finish the goals. I don't think I have enough room in the getaways to do all that! Oh well, it's fun and maybe we don't need to complete everything unless we want the item being offered. Still a ton of fun!

So essentially it's "place"  . Thought we could now trade items with other players...oh well. Anyone noticed a slight "pause" in the game when franchising? Every time I franchise someone, the game/music pauses for a nano second...it sounds like it's about to crash. It did crash a couple times yesterday but after doing a hard reset of my iPhone, the crashing went away. However, the pause is still there. Not that big of a deal but still rather annoying. |

Critique: Not much difference in New Lands..Especially the Farmville Copy of the Beach. My problem was I got too addicted to Farmville and then Cityville after Mytown #1 turned into a ghost town. Had to burn out before I could quit. With MyTown2, I just wanna feel that great feeling MyTown #1 gave us when we imagined the Monopoly-type game feel combined with the "Real World" locations/businesses through GPS ! |

Because the getaways give us more land! it will keep us happy for awhile redecorating and being creative - but I do agree - booyah just duplicated the original town with no new input! However, that was what I signed up for when I downloaded the original game I did get a memory blast when I loaded the new getaway app cuz the mt2 music was playing !!! I had had it turned off for so long I had almost forgotten what it sounded like! Lol after 5 mins. it was turned off again! I remember it turning up in my dreams (nightmares!!!!) months ago when I was playing it so much earning all those millions to clear land!!!! |

Is anyone else having trouble getting to their getaways? I was able to get into the lake getaway and start building once, but now when I try to go to the lake the game crashes. |
