Hehe... actually I do photoshop myself whenever I have to include a photo for a job application, it is amazing what a selective Gaussian blur does to your apparent age...

Just went into the game....saw it loading the strings and things.... and...nothing happened. Nothing new, nothing changed in features.

Despite Raven's optimism, I feel sure that support has been stopped on the game. It is a real pity, because we had a lot of fun with it. I wonder if they are gonna release an MT3?

I want to share Raven's optimism but it is getting harder and harder. I hope the new ceo and remaining staff can overcome their difficulties but this is starting to feel like this is booyah's struggle just to keep the doors open.
Booyah facebook pages (including getaways, zombies and their corporate page)as well as the twitter feed haven't been updated since the week of March 25. Combined with facebook's recent changes to the way their mobile facebook /facebook app displays timeline, it is starting to get quieter over there too.

Booyah actually doesn't have a good track record supporting their games - a lot a peeps played MyTown Animal and they just let it go - what bothers me is that pretty sure it's still accessible to get in App Store!?!? Not really sure on that! It is on their webpage! Just don't think that is right!

I had to go check - if you search MTA in App Store it did come up and it's still on their webpage and you can install it it - they never tell you that it just stops working at a certain point! Not a good business practice!

Communication has never been booyah's strong point. I've read the posts that other players posted on mytown animals facebook page - it was posting the replies from customer service that let others know what was happening.
They have also stopped updating their corporate facebook page as well as the zombies page so I guess either they've decided not to post any social media communication until they get sorted or their social media person was one of the victims of the layoffs.

Told you, they are hard at work on mt3 and how to rid the game of that annoying 'traveling' screen.

Who gets custody of Walter if Booyah stops looking after him? . And who will keep feeding the animals in the zoo? I'm thinking a call to the SPCA might sort this out.....

Hehe... actually I do photoshop myself whenever I have to include a photo for a job application, it is amazing what a selective Gaussian blur does to your apparent age... Why on EARTH would anyone put a picture in a job application? (In most jobs it cannot legally be required; only where looks are inherent to he role such as modelling or acting). If you are too good looking, you are 'a distraction' or 'probably stuck up'. If you are unfortunate looking, you cause a proven subconscious shifting of opinion by your potential employers. And there will always be someone who won't like the competition of your young, ageless good looks!

Oh a lot of Asian countries like Japan, Vietnam or Korea require a photo. I suspect it is because they like stereotypical blonde blue eyed foreigners, but it could well be something more sinister. In France, and Japan too in many cases, applications need to be handwritten so a graphologist can look at them and analyse your personality based on your handwriting.

When I get job applications I pick up half at random and throw them in the bin. You wouldn't want to hire someone who is unlucky.

Lol - knowing that, I will now send 2 applications in, should I ever apply for a job in the world of academia. I figure that if both get thrown away, it's a sign that I need to steer clear, anyway.

Last couple of days I been teaching the boy funny walks in case he ever wants to work for the ministry of silly walks. Despite a few mishaps, he looks like he could have a future as a comedic public servant.

Unless I am getting my daylight savings times confused, I would venture to say no update again.
