So I am right? Oh well, when I first saw the sale, I got super excited, then clicked on the land and saw that it was only 100k less. Oh well, nothing I can do and looking on the bright side, I'll save a 100k right?  Maybe its because of where I live? |

So glad we have Kon's 'mystery' towns. Game is a bit slow since Booyah hasn't offered anything new to amuse us. Maybe they are adding more land or getting ready for another Getaway. I've just been spending time collecting rent.  |

What do y'all think of a thread called "Business Names to Make you Laugh" Not really a game but: - A mayor would give a business name that they found fun or unique and list the town name and ID with it - - you couldnt post 2 in a row - when you post you have to go to the forum member posting before you (not the town with the fun business) and give them one exault to up their Karma - Give me a bit of feedback!  will start it if it appeals to you - |

Oh dear. Got my traffic infringement today. Been driving since I was 12 with only one eye, never even scratched anything or got a parking ticket and I have driven in a dozen countries, including some that are completely insane like India or Portugal and others that even drive on the wrong side. Luckily it is only $30 dollars because I was only 1 k over the speed limit.

Derek that is so just not fair!!!! 1k over!!!! Have to laugh though cuz my son called in the last couple of weeks and got his first speeding ticket as well!!! Not 1k over then got a second the next week!!!! Lol |

Wow, they ticket for only 1km over the limit? That seems super strict. Can't see them doing that here unless you are driving in a school zone otherwise they would be ticketing everybody. Except in rush hour or icy conditions where it is crawling speed, the average on our freeways is 10 over the limit - if you don't do that speed then you get passed by everyone (including the trucks). They usually start cracking down at 10km/hr over the limit. They claim that our highway 401 as being the busiest routes in North America outside California. We'd have no government spending issues if they started pulling over some of the 400 000 cars travelling on the 401 everyday.
This week their campaign is focused on distracted drivers.

To clarify, here it is 5k over, so I was actually doing 56 in a 50 zone. It was during the Easter weekend and they are always very strict at peak intercity travel times. My own stupid fault. I didn't want to be stuck behind two camper vans going over the mountains.

I like our strict traffic laws. I have been on the receiving end of a speeding (and drunk) driver. It wasn't pretty. While I'm singing the praises of our little country, last night our government passed a law to legalise gay marriage. I'm so proud of us. The country that was the first to give women the vote should have been even quicker off the mark with this one. I know it's not something everyone will agree with me on (and I'm checking my karma to see if it costs me smites!), but I just think it's fantastic that we recognise that love has equal value, whatever your orientation. This was one of our Members of Parliament talking about the Bill... youtu.be/pCDEiaoEP2UKicking my soapbox to touch... I think I am going searching for fun town names. |

Kiwi that is great about New Zealand recognizing equal rights! You'll get a +1 from me I remember when I was very young - a long long time ago my dad getting pulled over because he was driving to slow!!! He got kidded about that for years!!!! Lol |
