Not sure if I should post 2 questions in a row but.... I really NEED to turn off the annoying MUSIC that is playing on the getaways on my Iphone and can not figure out how to do it can not find anything in settings that would do it for this game anyone HELP please  Open your stats page and then click on the little symbol in the left corner then you can turn off the music by clicking on the music note. I also turn off the sound effects. thanks sooo much Sardi this works great  |

As well Foxx - and everyone - booyah eventually forces everyone to upgrade (at least they have in the past) so this is just a "grace period" -
At some point a screen will come up that you can't get past that forces the upgrade!

No don't think your missing anything - the population counter is gone! No one has really speculated about that yet! - one speculation was that more was to follow with a future addition to this upgrade! Maybe the population issue will be addressed then! New players still need population to get businesses!!!! (I am AssuMing!!! That) So I will be curious to see what Booyah is going to do about that! So I shouldn't start selling off community buildings and build houses, just yet?  |

Yeah, I understand their need to better their app as well as their ability to earn compensation for their hard work. I'm working on one town now...now more experimentation, and I will make that as fun as possible. Thanks for everything you folks do here.

I think I'm going to slow down now on my getaways. Only 3 plots left to clear
Thank goodness I had time to save between finishing the original land and the update.
Between items purchased, items transferred and collection rewards my getaways are filling-up too fast. I think I better save some space for future new items.
Wonder how they are going to do their Friday new releases from now on? Featured items you can put anywhere or releases aimed at particular getaways?
Out of curiosity, What is everybody's favorite item from the getaways? I like a lot of the pieces but I think my favorite is the hot air balloon.

Next you are going to tell me that the Tooth Fairy is really the Easter Bunny in disguise!! My favourite thing is the water trampoline in the Lake collection. Not the big bold plastic looking Fort thing - the small one with 2 kids on it. I see that, and I just want to join in! |

Gidday Derek. All well here thanks. No trick or treaters here last night - unusual because there are usually a few. I'm guessing they will all be out with fireworks in the next few days though. I'm following your tip in using the STW freebies to get the Puzzle collection items - amazing how many fireworks stands you can fit on one lake island! Good to hear the boy is teaching you how to use Lego - you'll get the hang of it soon enough - just don't put those small pieces in your mouth, up your nose, or in your ear. Or anywhere else on your person for that matter! |

I used the baby to frighten off our trick or treaters. Thanks for your tips on Lego, they are giant blocks so they are hellish to get out of your nose if they get stuck.... The little fella loves destroying his robots/chickens/llamas. He took his first steps to destroy a tiger we had made together...
I have no space left in my main town again thanks to the giant robot, so can't build any more wonders to get the winery (red wine is my weakness... I actually blame it for many of the catastrophic design plans I have made in the game... Or it could be the coffee... )

Ok just wondering here, it obvious that we like the getaways but has no one else noticed that they screwed the normal towns up so much that its not worth it? The stw is gone no glitch works at all on it, the midnight buck glitch is gone, the globe and ND glitch is gone, it sucks I'm used to getting like 60 mil an hour now I'm lucky to get 100 k. And I dunno if any one pointed this out yet or not but the getaways is not what we wanted. We wanted new customizable lands in our regular towns, when the pop up was saying new lands coming soon I was like yeah finely more land to stretch out, we'll no new land but since the globes and ND don't work mite as well delete them to make the land, I hope that was not booyahs intent, I really do. Well this is just me venting frustrations see y'all later.

Let me tell ya...I am sick of playing stw so much but I have nothing else to do until booyah makes me update. I've got plenty of coins but I guess you can never have too many bucks. Plus level 75 is finally in sight. So update or not, booyah has taken a lot of the fun out of it. For now anyway. Maybe it'll get better soon. |

Well this is just me venting frustrations see y'all later. I agree that it was a let down to find out what exactly the update was, and the other changes that came along with it. I was kinda hoping that they would give us a new place to build on, but I was hoping they would be bigger. I'm sure they will give us more expansions at some point. Although, it's quite obvious that there will be no further expansions in the getaways. They shaped the land around the getaways in a fashion that limits anymore outward movement, unless they allow us to either build on hills and other shaped terrains. Personally I would like to see the ability to shape landscapes on our own. As far as the changes in income from wonders. They don't help quite as much as they did, but if a lot of housing is built, you can still pull in a good profit. Especially if the housing is Chic Apartments. One thing that some Mayors may not have realized is a double whammy on income is happening. From what I've heard, the way to make a lot of income used to be, to build High Rise Condo's because they made 400c/hr and only cost 10,000 coins. The combo of those houses and the wonders made a lot of coin. Not only have the Wonders been nerfed back to working like SE, but the High Rise Condo's have been adjusted down to 200c/hr as a result of new housing that has been added. So if you used the above method, it's not just the Wonders that have changed. You will need to upgrade to a higher housing now as well. |

Since I only found this forum recently I did not have the chance to have a huge stockpile of bucks but I do have a small nest egg. Losing the glitches is not that big of a deal. I will keep playing like I use to. Part of the charm of this game is it is location based. I love having my neighborhood dives as part of my town. I enjoy decorating my town and it is great that the game continuously comes out with new items. For those of you who do not like the upgrade, pretend you have more storage! I am going to take one getaway, load it up with items I can no longer purchase, such as holiday stuff. The other one is going to be storage for items I paid bucks for but am not using at the moment. I just wish that the getaways did not have so much area devoted to water. You can't use water area for storage  I am sure that I will find that I will like my vacation homes as much as my original town, just give me time to adjust, redecorate and get used to traveling so much. You do have to admit, traveling in the game is much easier than in real life, and you do not have to take your shoes off! |

Ok I finally hit level 66 this afternoon. I started placing more stock Exchanges in my town. I already had 10 but here it said 75 do they still give you more coins? And also when I reached level 66 my population cleared and I could build 4 additional business to the grand total of 36. Population now says maxed out. I was one of the lucky one who stumbled onto the $1 business from Booyatopia Town so at least I got a few before that vanished. Early on in the game changing locations was the only way I get good businesses. It still works and I've travel to Paris. LOL. I am sure that there are more glitches to come. The split second delay in franchising is a crack. Thank you for teaching me more things I can do to make my towns better. I miss the old social button and explore. And I wish I had bought the second getaway before I developed land on the first one.

I was going to come on and do a mini "freak out" about the Travelling popup that came with the upgrade I did this afternoon! However!!! My game didn't crash once while I was franchising!!!! And it had been crashing a lot! Soooo it is just possible the time used up with the popup! Is actually less that all the time I spent reloading game!! |

I lost my new lakeside getaway last week. I had already spent some bucks and coins on it as well! I emailed booyah and eventually they gave me 1 million coins as compensation. Without the snow globe stack up it takes me ages to save that so that was good.. I do wish I could go back to when I didn't download and save up lots of coins lol! My boyfriend hasn't downloaded yet and he's raking it it!! |
