LMBO!!! I can't believe you wrote that  too funny though. Ok ok... if you have lived here you can moan. In the yrs I have been living back here I've had rain on my birthday for the last 5 lol. What other country has rain in the middle of August!! So Dio... when I am not here you are in charge... Keep Ams away from the beer.... Raven away from the Lemonade, Konnie away from the Mic... and everyone away from my  lol. Well Ams.... looks like you and I lucked out with this toy boy.... he only has eyes for Raven.... oh well.... It's good having birthday when it's raining, at least you can eat your birthday cakes alone. >=) I'm not sure the weather in this country, but disaster always comes on December... Leo Dio. You really need to keep up with the times.! There are possums here too. And me of course. Which is like the jewel in the crown.
Raven thanks for the Irish cream in my Kopi. Dio I had forgotten that word till you said it... Been a while since I spoke it although my sister is very fluent.
And it is soo bloody cold here right now..one more month and it will get a tad warmer.

And it is soo bloody cold here right now..one more month and it will get a tad warmer. We've had awful muggy weather here. It's not so much that it's hot, I can deal with that. It's the sticky, damp air that makes it hard to breath. I'm starting to look forward to the winter. We really didn't have much of a spring so I'm completely over summer now, especially since all my flowers bloomed early this year so now everything is dead. |

I have red and white roses all along my drive way and roses down the bottom of the garden and a huge rose bed with the painters rose range by Dave Austin. Do you get them there? Tassy really doesn't get hot perse. Not like Queensland and the humidity. Ours is more a dry heat but can burn. But even if we do have a hot day it is likely to plummet on a whim. And could go down to the teens in seconds (celsius). So we never really put a woolies away  |

They're gorgeous and if I could afford a landscaper I'd have some. I had a beautiful bed of tulips that were coming up in front of the house. They started blooming in late March instead of late April and then we got a cold snap and it killed most of them. A few survived, but being a month ahead of schedule they were gone by early June. Along the driveway, I have German irises, day lilies, peonies and hostas. The irises didn't make it, a couple of the lilies came up, but only one bloomed and two of the peonies came up and bloomed. The only thing that seems to be growing normally this year are the hostas which I hate. They were there when we bought the house 17 years ago. I keep giving some away every year, but those darn things keep coming back. |

I got blossoms the first year, but that might be due to the planting zone I'm in. Although, I almost killed them. I didn't know that they need the ants and was about to put down the stuff to get rid of the ants when one of my neighbors told me not to. They start out small, lots of green just a few blossoms, but they get better over time. I'm hoping that this season didn't destroy them and they come back full next year. |
