Now that all the corners has been released I was hoping that some of the more adventurous types are going to give it an honest go at making the coolest hedge mazes. If you come up with some good ones post here. I'm just starting mine and it's going to be a PITA considering how tough it is to select those little buggers. Awesome.......will put you on the ole mayor list.... Bet you and Halloween will go and in hand, especially if they offer us A corn plant. Shame you couldn't collect rent off a corn maze......you keep working....I can't wait to see the rest..... |

A little more progress. It's getting a little tight. I was thinking about grouping the businesses based on city. My vineyards help with my population so I don't know if I want to get rid of too many of them to make room. I'm not sure about road either, takes us valuable space. I haven't been able to snag any more Wonders since I'm not big on bucks. I shimmied the original smaller maze to be more centred. The corner where the slot machine was a little tough and I still need to figure out the bends so things maintain a constant spacing. To get around the inside corner I incorporated a small sitting area.. The loose stuff in the middle is just building elements. Any suggestions on introducing hedges around the businesses?  |

KC, if you do that, I would be enjoying watching my finger run through the maze between businesses for a long while!! That would be the one town I would constantly view over and over in my town 2.  What a brilliant idea! I tried to make a little maze, and good lord!! I think I may have to do a copy form one of those maze maps in books to do it right I may give it a second shot.. Sure wish booyah would allow for multiple profiles of my town 2 on a same device LOL Or at least give us a HUGE 7x7 block on the north point, south point, east point and west point to do 1 full on maze, 1 on parks, roman homes, victorian styles, etc etc  Thanks peoples! I think I might end up making converting the entire town into a hedge maze, setting up openings for the individual business, etc. Might take some work, but hey, why not... |

KC, about the population, if you now have x number of business, as long as you dont delete the businesses, you can delete all those vineyards and still have that number of businesses active. I have seen someone manage to have 36 businesses, and have a little bit of this and that populations. If you did delete or sell a business, you need to build population back up to replace that lost business. Would be nice if the hedges gave more then just 20 - 60 little populations each |

I needed to make room so I've deleted all the vineyards. The problem is I forgot that had recently had 2 vacancies as I was attempting to get some high-pop businesses. Oh well. I guess I'll just wait until the inventory/storage update and expanded parcels of land. At least I hope they release those as part of the major upcoming updates. At 100K per vineyard it would have been a tougher pill if I didn't have the 3T in the coin bank.
Added in the sports fields / courts (and some bike racks) and the first of the community buildings. Cheated a bit with the water using the blocking hedges so I could get away with using a single, hiding the open sides.  |

I'm starting to get discouraged. It's not working as well as I wanted. I incorporated a back road to travel the wonders, wrapped all the community buildings, introduced all the flags, worked in a little seating area where you can sit down with a hot dog or ice cream and relax after a long maze walk. I'm not feeling the megamall / taxi stand / bus stop implementation. The good ol' gazebo and dragon topiary also make an appearance. All I have left are the businesses, and I think I'm going to group the businesses based on country and relocate their associated flag to sit with them. By the way, I love how people walking around can simply pass through the hedge. I was be much more entertaining watching them struggle to find their way through the maze.  |

KC, wow its looking better and better I am truly enjoying the view of the entire town.. Simply amazing  Please let us know when you have finally been able to complete it If you dont mind, I may try to do a section on Dalaran to have a maze around maybe 2 businesses and whatnot, I am going to be revamping Dalaran for a while Soon of course! |

It's been a little slow going the last 3-4 days. Work is killin' my important hedge building initiative.
The business area is definitely work in progress. I want to get everything filled in and then I'll move things around and start adding proper outlets, turns, caps and incorporate more garden elements.

Okay, I think I've finally finished version 1.0 of my hedge maze. Thanks to some crazy robin hoods (Big Buck Fairy, Free For All, You've Been Robbed, but a number of others) I was able to add in the missing Wonders. I went minimal on the roads but ran them in front of the building sections along the top and right. Unlike the bottom edges they would have been lost running behind the structure. That said I still made a point of completing ensuring that all hedges were completed and made sense (somewhat). Hopefully the updates coming down the pipe will give us more freedom. Here are a couple snaps of the top and right. The bottom and left haven't changed much with the exception of the Eiffel Tower. I grouped the cities except the top corner which I'll probably tweak. For a close look come on by to visit...   |
