So I have a franchise question. Sorry, if it was explained somehow in this thread, and I just didn't get it. I didn't really pay attention to this thread much, coz' I never imagined, in my wildest dreams, that I will soon be franchising in bucks. But now that a lot of us are trying to pay it forward (i.e., franchising others in a smaller scale)... here's my question... In your tabulation, the least amount of bucks received by the franchisee was 3 bucks. But I've seen businesses that cost only $1 to franchise --- how much does the franchisee get, then? Is there a correlation between how much it costs to franchise, and how much the franchisee receives? I know the cost depends not only on popularity, but also on franchiser's distance from the business.... so in the lower scale, if say, the popularity was only 100 --- and I buy the business for $3... and someone farther buys it for $10... does the franchisee get the same amount of bucks from both franchisers? Sorry if my question/s didn't make sense. But your effort in answering me would be greatly appreciated.

According to Chillitown the distance didn't make a difference in the price he paid for franchises.
The receiver seems to get a little more than 15% of what the buyer pays. I also wonder about the cheaper franchises. Does a 5 buck franchise net the receiver 1 buck or is Booyah more generous with its "commission" on the lower end?

So 15% of $1 will be..... ? (*confused*) Yeah... maybe they're more generous on the lower end. According to Chillitown the distance didn't make a difference in the price he paid for franchises. He hacked his scores through a jailbroken device. People have also done this with coins and bucks. The most extreme example is Wonderland with unreleased content in his town. wow

I set up some low end businesses in this town: LexiLooVille 31759913 Lenny's Restaurant Need for Speed Harbortown Ceramics Franchise them and post how much you paid and the popularity you see them at. I'll check the amount of Bucks I received.

The lowest popularity businesses I see (from your stats) are: - LA Youth at work - MC Choi French... - Don's Hair Salon I checked your stats first, to see what skin I should be looking for (so I don't have to click on all your businesses.) EDIT:Okay, I'm seeing them in the town now: LA Youth at work -- 1928 pop, $60 (sold for 15,000 coins later on) --- just an added info bit. Second EDIT: Uhhh... DUH! I franchised the wrong business! I'm still not seeing the businesses you listed above. I was wondering why you would set me up to buy something expensive?!?!? DUH! What's wrong with me today??!?! Third EDIT: Maybe a lag in the server? The businesses are still not showing.

Great! So you didn't even get my franchise. What happens then? Interesting thought.... when the franchised business has actually been deleted, and no longer exists in the town... where does the franchise money go?!? Alright. Ignore PM. So how much did you get from LA Youth at work? LOL! Actually that was one of the businesses I deleted to make room for the new lower pop. ones.

I have another Franchise question ---
(Wait... is this the correct thread to post these questions?)
I was trying to help our member, embodzilla earn some coins (as he posted in the "New Members who need coins" thread --- and noticed that he had French Laundry from San Francisco.
How is it that I was still able to franchise his French Laundry... when I already have my own French Laundry in my town?!
And take note... he's got a higher popularity for it too! (Uhhhmn... I might just have to keep that permanently then.)

For instance, I found at least five Disneylands, all with different pops and spellings. Maybe that's the case?

There are a couple of NYC businesses that have multiple versions. There has been discussion about how Booyah lists businesses but I don't think anything definitive was figured out. Edit: I still can't see those businesses yet.

Sol, you might want to know it can take several hours for the changes to take place.. did you shut down the game completely, wait 5 minutes then start it up again? I dont see the businesses in the top corner at all Nintendo world is there
Also its possible that those businesses, if you just bought and put them there, may have to wait for it to finish their first job or two for them to take place for the rest to see.

Thanks for checking. I put them there at 6:00 eastern, more than 8 hours ago and finished them instantly. I even completed a couple jobs on them and hard reset the game twice! Wow! I guess the lag varies more widely than we suspected!! Crazy!

OK, I just hard reset my Solsville town and restarted the app. Then I revisited LexiLooVille and the 3 businesses were there.
I franchised them at 5, 2 and 2 Bucks. I checked the franchises and each received 1 Buck. 50% Return on the 2 Buck ones - Woohoo!!

I've had similar problems playing Pekman's game. By the time I see his business he has moved to the next city, but others have been able to see it.
I franchised those 3 this morning and paid 1 buck each. I went back and franchises Lenny's for 2 bucks.
I am interested to see at what price paid you will receive 2 bucks.
